Lazy J

a funk band, unsigned for some crazy reason, that i fukin love, you just dont get much music like this anymore think chili peppers 17 years ago, and you'v got this sound great guys, from dudley so their accent is a bit but still, when they sound like that they are forgiven! Rich is the bass player, currently using a 3eq stingray, which sounds brilliant in the recordings. anyways, theyv just opened a new forum, went live this evening, so itd be great if some of you could join and get the place goin: http://advertfactory.co.uk/LazyJ/phpBB2/index.php from there, youl find links to their myspace, and their music let me know what you think!

Multi effects

i dont understand this patch problem, surely you can set all the patches to be blank, and then do effects in order of how you use them in a gig?? eg patch 1 clean, patch 2 distortion patch 3 clean, patch 4 filter etcetc

i think this can be classed as a sign.... KEEP THE BLOWTORCH once its fixed
10. waiting for ste to jump in with a comment about his octron 2
11. napalm effects pedals are horribly overpriced, compared to someone like say red onion solutions
12.
I've never seen the need for using effects when playing bass. As I have heard many bassists use them sparingly with taste, I've heard far more use them to cover up their short comings.
and then of course there are those who don't have the ability to use effects or use the ones they have effectivly
13. indeed as im not in a band or anything at the moment, and because iv not got alot of free time to look for one, upgrading the amps isnt majorly important at the moment. however, i think il start putting money aside now so i can get something sorted in the summer, always fancied a trace rig...
14. sounds as good as it looks, gorgoeus bass, but surely aything with an aguilar preamp and that neck would sound good ye its a whammy II, the guitar version of the bass whammy. sounds great, although the harmonies or whammys dont track below A, but it doesnt bother me. strangely thought the chorus/detune tracks down to B :S but ye anyways great pedal, tonewise better than wh4, but not as good as a wh1
15. nice uni is a bit heavy at the moment, but once iv got my projects out the way n sh*t, il get to havin a go at buildin one b&q good place to go then?? how thick wood did you get?
16. ye ye, i intend to build one when i have time
17. so here it is Family pic, my Peavey Grind 6, and my gorgeous 99 Fender Custom precision special
18. pedal board, going by finances i think this will remain unchanged for a while
19. i sold my musicman to fund the custom fender purchase, so i wont be selling either the pickle pie or the M80 now however il still listen to trade offers for the rat, but thats bout it
20. finbar...i like you board man, very cool stuff, hows the super comp for bass??
21. +1 on jacques pedals, i have the trinty filter, and its funky as f***
