1. you seen the blx80 that ends in 4 hours, startin bid 200.... i feel sorry for some people who cant accept how much the older trace stuff loses value. i emailed the blx guy several times telling him there was no way he'd get 200 for it, maybe not even half that, but to no avail...
2. bump for a gorgoeus bass i woulda had it if it had frets...
3. if its the same one i used to own, its 8"?

5. when i cut bass, it doesnt happen, but i should not have to do that
6. i never said that, i said when i attacked the e string hard it always happened, and at extreme boosts effected ALL strings
7. could it be because only one 9v battery appears to be powering both the aguilar and the emg's?? just occured to me, but i shouldnt see why as long as the battery is fresh, which it is
8. nah there isnt one reason i dont think its the preamp is that i aint askin much of it at all, i have the treble/bass practically flat, and the p pickup volume 3/4 and the jazz 1/3, that shouldnt overload any preamp
9. i dont think anyone would get £399 for one, £200-£300 is about right, so its a great price
10. im still convinced its the pickup rather than the preamp, i just get the feelin, cant think what would be causing it...
11. close it now, give us a better chance... who am i kiddin, like i ever win anything, not even a tenner on the lottery
12. hey recently bought this gorgoeus OLP MM3 5 string off the forum, but to be honest it was just on a whim as i always wanted to try out an olp! its a great bass, really punchy for a passive, and sound isnt too far away from the real thing at all. it looks stunning with its all black body and maple neck, but looks just as striking with the 3ply pearloid like scratchplate too pics found at simons thread: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=13261&hl=olp not interested in cash for this one, just after an interesting trade, perhaps for a jazz of some sort, or a passive P?? let me know what you'v got kev
13. iv bought 4 sets, my fender p is strung with them now, brilliant strings
14.
Would someone be so kind as to open their big muff, take a picture of the circuit board and post it please? I'm having a mare with my one that I bought not working and after replacing the faulty footswitch STILL doesn't work- all the transistors are fine so next suspects are the caps, helpfully none of them are marked with rating so I have to go with dubious schematics on the web. Anyone who can help me out is a star
i said the same thing in town last night, but didnt get any offers!!!! sorry il get my coat
