opinions on this pedal? how does it sound with bass? iv seen a few boards with it on
sound clips seem to be none existant on the net, so they would be muchos appreciated
im just after a od that i can leave on all the time, from descriptions and reviews this seems to be around about it.
opinions? -
iv no idea of whether the price is accurate or not, im jus lookin at my bank statement!
-
that blue ibanez is stunning
but 300 quid... -
ye im definatly not a fan of the bassballs, plus i can get a very similar sound to it out of the deep impact anyways.
does anyone know any good music shops in bristol that stock plenty of effects, soundcontrol is sh*te -
What about the electro harmonix bass balls? Always get coments after gigs.
i despise it tbh -
thats what the one currently on ebay is goin for
good luck with the sale then -
Oh my god!!
did what bass man kev said and it sounds amazing!!!
Not that found of putting the obb inbetween the q and bsw.
Thanks for the advice guys.
nice to see your enjoying itthe qtron and odb-3 are great together
-
personally i would do:
bass > tuner > bsw > qtron > odb-3
but then again i love distorting synth and filters -
well i have the gt-6b, which on the effects front i find to be superior to the pod xt, with the pod xt having better amp models, but ye the envelope on the boss leaves alot to be desired, may suit some but much to subtle for me
-
isnt the tonefactor pretty subtle in comparison to others?
is there a particular reason why like noone ever talks about a qtron or qtron+? or why hardly anyone has one? alot of people ave mini/micro's, but not the actual thing..... how bout the xo qtron+ -
right so these are the pedals recomended (disregarding mutron due to price):
ebs bass iq
maxon af-9
exar pignose
none of these seem that readily available in the uk, but id like to no more about them. think sir psycho sexy. think of that awesome envelope sound. do any of those 3 nail it? -
bump for a great bit of kit and a sound guy
-
tis a shame
well if you can get anyone interested in buyin the mammoth off me, il take the cab off you -
if your up for trades for woolly mammoth/akai unibass, let me know
-
how is the HAZ mutron?
is it a bad filter, or does it just have a bad name because its not as good as the original? -
BuMp
bass is now currently fitted with a black scratchplate, which looks gorgeous, both plates will be included
very much up for trades, 4 or 5 strings, active basses with a switch to passive would be fantastic -
^^ +1 on that
iv had my 6 for about a week now, my hand is slowly familiarising with the fretboard -
and if i dont like volume loss i should go for....[insert pedal here]
-
apart from the fact i couldnt afford one, i wouldnt buy one simply due to reliability issues, if it breaks its alot of money to lose (this comes from the guy who has a deep impact, but meh)
-
i forgot about that pedal, i was gassing for that last year
is it any good? theres mix reviews on ebs pedals on a whole -
right, i know these threads probably exist, but everyone else starts a new topic so i thought i might as wel
as some of you guys know i recently got rid of most my single stompboxes (minus my 2 akais and the mammoth) in favour of the boss gt-6b. i am very impressed with the unit HOWEVER being boss the envelope filter, they call it touch wah, sounds sh*te.
soooo can i be recommended a filter please
i want the opposite of subtle, somethin really squarky/sir psycho sexy esque. iv had a mini and micro qtron, and they wernt really delivering the sound i wanted.
any recommendations? i was looking at the discombobulator -
