I swear he used the Wal MK2 on You Oughta Know, not the rosewood Stingray?
-
that’s true! Most other multiscales I’ve seen have a much more subtle fan range (Ibanez, Strandberg etc) and that just feels gimmicky, as what’s a 1/4 inch going to do to a string. 3/4 between each string on this and Dingwall’s and it does make a difference, pleasingly so for the thinner strings too for sure.

So, after sitting in its case mostly since I purchased on here earlier this year, I’m thinking of letting this beast go. This is a stunning unique little bass, built by Chapman for Dave Hollingworth from Toska. It’s a 4 basically designed to be drop tuned, fanned fret 35 - 32.75 (same ratio as a Dingwall, just shorter (more sensible!) scale length overall). Obviously, due to it only being 35 max, it’s fantastic in E standard too, indeed that is how it’s currently tuned! It’s very Warwick esque in its build, fancy woods and a wonderful curved body. Sounds really nice, super articulate. Full specs below. Looking to pick something up more traditional so I’m moving this on. It’s in great condition, just a nick near the bottom shown in the pics. Comes with its full hard case. £1,500 new, now discontinued, not sure how many were made in the end but they are hard to find. Darkglass / NeuralDSP moving into hardware???? UPDATE: The Quad Cortex
Kev replied to fretmeister's topic in Effects
Yup. Although as ^^ said, Tier 2 will quickly follow I should imagine, providing the parts issues they have is resolved fully enough. -

Darkglass / NeuralDSP moving into hardware???? UPDATE: The Quad Cortex

Snap! Seeing stacks and stacks of them in the Darkglass factory on Dougs Insta earlier made me happy. So close now 😁 -
Incredible noise gate pedal, has to be heard to understand how good it is. Key input crucial for a tight gate based on a dry signal, but works as a regular gate does as well. Seems to follow the natural decay of a note, whilst still gating white noise around it. Works fantastically well under normal conditions but it really excels when you're stacking noisy dirt pedals. Other gates i have used the signal still sounds messy when the gate is lifted, but not with the Zuul. Excellent condition with box. Selling due to an impending switch to a multi effects processor. New price £249 https://www.andertons.co.uk/guitar-dept/guitar-pedals/noise-gate-pedals/fortin-amplification-zuul-blackout-noise-gate-pedal £200 now £180 shipped.

Trace Elliot Elf Insane little amp, it’s power to size ratio is just bonkers! Power: 200 watts at 4 ohms and 130 watts at 8 ohms Input Level with signal level display Ultra-high input impedance precursor especially for passive basses 3-Band EQ filters for classical trace-sound Post EQ XLR DI output Ground Lift switch Headphone output: 6.35 mm Dimensions (H x W x D): 3.4 x 17.1 x 10.4 cm Weight: 0.73 kg Incl. Trace-Elliot nylon carrying case Amp is in perfect condition, it’s hardly seen any use at all. Bought as a safety net following my switch to IEM/DI only. Comes in the box with its carry case, although the case has a seam coming away, bizarrely since it hasn’t been used! £178 shipped!

Continuing with the downsize, I am now selling my pedalboard and case. included are (with lowest prices new): Mono Tour Case 2.0 (£149) https://www.andertons.co.uk/guitar-dept/electric-guitar-accessories/cases-bags-for-electric-guitars/mono-tour-20-accessory-case-black Temple Audio Duo 24 in Gunmetal (£109) https://www.templeaudio.com/shop/product/duo-24-312 12 or 13 Medium Temple Audio Plates (~£39) https://www.templeaudio.com/shop/product/tqr-m-medium-pedal-plate-325?search=Medium For those not familiar with Temple Audio, check It out as it’s a great system. Rather than Velcro pedals to a board, you instead effectively screw them on with the plates, which are attached to the pedals. You can also add loads of modules underneath the board if you like, such as power supply adaptors, routing boxes, di etc, quite a large range. The case and board are in excellent condition, only actually saw two gigs before the live music world ended in March. The Temple Audio plates have been fitted with Velcro and I have been attaching them to pedals with Velcro, which has worked well. However, if you want to use the adhesive pads on them then DV247 sell them I believe. £300 odd worth of pedalboard all in, but I’ll let this go for £150, plus a few quid for shipping. I’m not splitting really for the moment, as I’d need more if selling things individually. (Pedals not included!)

Absolutely, I really enjoyed being able to wire wool out grime and small dings and reapply the hot wax, with no damage to the finish 🙂
