  1. Gotta be honest though, change of venue and combination with the guitar show makes me more hesitant about grabbing tickets until fuller details are out...
  2. Despite having a number of pedals, in my function band I use only my compressor, unless the bass tone to a particular song is particularly iconic (I.e Time Is Running Out is in the set, so on goes the dirt pedals). Use the amps EQ to adjust to the room in sound check, DI to the board if PA supported. Pretty simple and stripped back really.
  3. Gorgeous! I think that would be an AB1, as opposed to an ABZ
  4. Being so slim and being the first pedal in line, it feels better/ more secure to have it on its side and a right angle jack feeding it. ......also, I don’t have a matching pancake cable long enough to accommodate it in portrait ....😂
  5. I'd definitely love to try one with the current firmware. I bought one new initially and returned it in a matter of days as I just couldn't get it to track as well as a Deep Impact, also had an issue gaining unity with the Dry signal, it was very quiet! May have had a dud, all sounds very exciting now though!
  6. Well yeah, one of them certainly hasn’t innovated. Can’t say Iv heard of Grossman though, appears they are located in Europe too so doesn’t surprise me they’re cheaper.
  7. Some of the biggest IFs ever 😂
  8. Invent and innovate are not necessarily the same thing; in this context they brought a product to market and I was referring to people in this thread making their own based upon it. I am, however, assuming knowledge that there is no other product that works in this same way i.e. foam with string cut-outs stuck to wood and designed to be placed on top of strings. If I'm wrong, hands held up!
  9. Shame a builder can't charge for innovation anymore. Everyone complaining about the cost, yet are now taking the idea and making their own versions because it doesn't require any real skill. Consider the size and location of the company, is he really going to shift the volumes of these he would need to make it worthwhile if he sold it for a tenner?
  10. Don’t need to convince me mate, in my opinion Darkglass build the best bass preamps on the planet I don’t need another B7K, and I’m still tempted by the price and the artwork!

    Octaves and synths

Well, you've just cost me £300 or so! Had no idea about this pedal, it looks like a FI killer!
  12. If you need to shift some black dome 6mm knobs as a result of this shoot me a pm, I need some!
  13. The ones built nineties and beyond yes. Some of the eighties models had the full sized headstock.
  14. Why put pics up when you probably already have a dozen thirsty bassists in your inbox...
  15. Lovely instrument! Been sorely tempted by one of the D-Birds as they sound brilliant, upper fret access completely unsuited to me (I've been known to use the 26th fret of my Warwick) but still have GASSSS.
  16. Interesting reference to SS, I thought with the Blades the main USP was spacing doesn’t matter as they are just bars?
  17. Im after a set of 6 string Zen Blades in a P4 shell, how much would they be?
  18.

Bananana Effects MATRYOSHKA anyone?  Fancy one...

      SpondonBassed

Is that the pedal that adds a syllable to every sound your bass banana makes?
