  1. The ones built nineties and beyond yes. Some of the eighties models had the full sized headstock.
  2. Why put pics up when you probably already have a dozen thirsty bassists in your inbox...
  3. Dimensions given are certainly very close to P4.
  4. Lovely instrument! Been sorely tempted by one of the D-Birds as they sound brilliant, upper fret access completely unsuited to me (I've been known to use the 26th fret of my Warwick) but still have GASSSS.
  5. Interesting reference to SS, I thought with the Blades the main USP was spacing doesn’t matter as they are just bars?
  6. Im after a set of 6 string Zen Blades in a P4 shell, how much would they be?
  7.

Bananana Effects MATRYOSHKA anyone?  Fancy one...

Is that the pedal that adds a syllable to every sound your bass banana makes?

Have one to sell if you want some fun?

  8. It did, apologies. Sold.
  9. Yeah I don’t really get it at all, costs sure would have been small. Well, there are other ibbys in the same price range that do, and the top wood on the SRMS is higher quality so don’t really know where the money is going, can’t cost that much more to build a fanned fret neck.... but yeah, I’ll be upgrading and it’s going to cost $$$$$$$ but fortunately I got the bass silly cheap ex demo!
  10. Newly formed Prog Metal/Metalcore band Awaken Eternity are looking for a vocalist to complete the lineup. Check out the FB post for full details!
  11. Please keep trade offers to PM But in any case, sorry mate, already have one 🙂
  12. The basslines on that record were not recorded with a P. Or, at least if they were, edited beyond recognition.
  13. It is, Deep Twilight or something if I recall? Nice bass, lovely woods and finish for the money. The Barts are the upgraded BH2 models, still quite dark sounding. Nothing the board doesn’t sort out nicely 🙂
  14. Wired up my newly acquired Temple Audio board yesterday, now to fill that space! 😂
  15. Bump. Haven't seen these cheaper than £117 new, bargainous and nothing quite like it!
  16. Bump. £155 shipped now, need this gone please. Can't believe its still here! Hardly ever come up used for a reason...🙂
  17. Yeah, I figure it must have been a bad unit. Like I say, I owned a Deep Impact for many years so know exactly how to get it to sound good, the FI just sound like what I could only describe as a effect modeller equivalent, with poorer tracking. Maybe I should give one another go.... I did catch the rehousing project @GisserD, huge improvement it seems!
  18. I need to give a FI another go. I bought one early days from Thomann, tried it, couldn't get a good sound out of it, sent it back after a few days. Awful to use, really fiddly dial (no notches, weird design choice?), and didn't track well. Couldn't replicate the DI tones I used to love. Have to assume from all the comments in this thread that mine must have been faulty?
  19. I think you are :) I'd say bass specific compressors have exploded in recent years!

  22. Does the board come with the case?
