  1. Hammerfest? Awesome! Heard a rumour that you may be doing shows with Ballsdeep too! Been tempted to swap out my B7KU with a B3K V2 ... not sure if id miss the EQ though.
  2. My old bass, it's a great example of one, such a distinctive tone. I concur with the above, tonally a SS1 is very, very different so it depends what you're after really.
  3. Decent bass, flats, decent EQ
  4. Nice shot of my thumb from the gig last night
  5. Played a great gig at scruffy murphys in Birmingham last night, we seemed to go down well despite not being too well known outside of Coventry, great atmosphere and sound and I had a blast, bloody warm though...
  6. Happy to be corrected but I don't think Warwick have ever produced a batch of BN NT thumb 5s at any point. Single Cut version does though?
  7. No standard NT BN model for sure, just the BO. Custom shop would do it, and I'm sure they must have been made in the past...
  8. Found a couple of really cool ones in the pack, all kind of ear fatigue though listening to so many variants, you come back to your narrowed down list and find you don't like some you liked and like others you have discounted! Most I enjoyed are Fat Mix but a couple of Fat Dyn too. Still not sure I prefer any to the Nolly Mega Meld though... Having fun all the same!
  9. So, who has one? I am loving it, without question the most versatile DG and the 6 band EQ is excellent. IRs are completely new to me and its great to play with. Couple of fave's from what comes with the suite, however I have just downloaded the Ownhammer AMPG pack and now have a ton of different speakers/mics to test tonight. Intend to use it first time on Saturday so pressure is on!
  10. Enjoyed today, although didn't manage to bump into many of you unfortunately! Bobby Vega on the main stage was brilliant. Steve Lawson was okay but didn't really connect with the room at all, lots of people leaving quite quickly which was a shame. Gear wise, I come away GAS free really, nothing tearing me away from Warwick any more, although I was thoroughly impressed with the Tuli basses! Amazing craftsmanship. Eich stand was annoying, far too loud, especially the guy with the ridiculous quad neck bass, noone at the Bass Direct/Darkglass/Earthquaker/Flately stands could hear themselves think when he was playing that thing. Its funny, everyone I spoke to thought the same, Im sure they must have done more damage to their brand than good over the course of the two days.
  11. I stand corrected. As an owner of a TX, you'd thought I'd know but there you go!
  12. Yeah, the comp was pretty special and I don't recall the expensive versions coming out until the Standard was well received. They are diving in at a very high price for an overdrive pedal with zero pedigree. Makes Darkglass look cheap as chips
  13. Expecting demand to be high.... Really??
  14. Decent price, these came before the Rockbass range but are german built, necks on them are the same as any BO warwick around that time, great value basses.
  15. PMT are USELESS!

I must have missed where I said or even remotely suggested that every member of staff of an organisation was at fault for a summary of 'useless' to be made. FWIW,  a variety of staff on the support pages, email enquiries, telephone enquiries, unspecified bham shop staff and the warehouse manager have let me down, hence my conclusion.

As my signature says, or at least used to say before the upgrade (can't check easily on my phone) , when my font is black it is my own opinion, only in red do I act on behalf of or represent the intent of the forum.  My own view is that PMT have, on this occasion, behaved in a manner I deem 'useless' and I am entitled to that opinion.  Clearly, PMT is useful to other people, just not on this occasion to me.

To say I am attacking the organisation is, well, absurd. Feel free to discuss with me by Pm if wish to discuss this further.

Bought my first bass from PMT in Oxford. No gig bag included so they put it in a plastic carrier bag lol

    Action!

I'v never measured my action..not interested really! I lower to the point of perfect balance between playability and string noise for me, its entirely subjective
  17. Honestly, thats as good as if not better than 90% of the youtube covers of this track....
  18. Lovely! Perhaps the new pickup is at the neck rather than the bridge, looking at the EMG logo??
