Market is better now than it was a few years ago, but still not where it should be for such great instruments. I love my Corvette $$, I only wished it had the curved body of the Streamers and Thumbs. Have it tuned CGCF at the moment in preparation for a potential new band I may be involved with and it really roars. My 1989 Thumb I can say is the nicest Warwick I have played and I am sure it will be my #1 for many years to come now. The neck is fantastic, slim and 'fast' with zero neck dive and plays so well. EMGs sound great too.

2 week old 3u Gator Soft Rack Case, bought from bass direct for £60 a couple of weeks ago for an amp I have now sold. Don't believe in returning items for such reasons so a bass chatter will get a bargain! Obviously perfect condition and boxed. Cheers

Just don't understand why these heads aren't being snapped up. As well as having one of the, if not THE cleanest class d power section in the market, it also effectively has two £350 pedals built in. Value wise head and shoulders above all of the competition. -
Anyone else currently enjoying a bout of amp GAS? Bit of a gear roundabout going on here at the mo, next gig in 4 weeks so decisions to be made!

Not just visual though; given the extra scale length of the E, that split coil is insanely far up the scale, tonally doesn't make much sense to me, should be angled the other way.

Yes yes yes. I need this to happen, Strandbergs look so sexy I'v been tempted to buy one before, and I can't play guitar. The proto looked a bit odd, so hopefully the design has been overhauled

This is all on the basis that your pre and sound is entirely based upon exactly what you say, the sound 2 foot from a cab. I certainly don't set up my preamps this way and I'd expect any half learned bassist wouldn't! It entirely depends on how you wish to adjust your pre for the backline on-stage. Most of my gigs the backline is provided and I don't have a soundcheck long enough to tailor my EQ to get the best out of the cab; I don't need to, as again I am only using it for monitoring purposes. If I heavily shaped the pre to fit the cab, I see where some of you are coming from. Otherwise, I don't whatsoever.
