    So, Coventry is holding Metal 2 The Masses for the first time and my band Barbikan are performing in the second heat on 2nd February. Would be awesome to see some of you guys come down to watch!     I just hope the pound improves by the time its released. One would assume it will be B7K/VTD priced, and at the moment they are back up for £285 at Bass Direct. They were £225 when the Ultra series came out

[/quote] Id be interested to try one. The original Cali76 colours tone too much for me and, after ab'ing, the Darkglass was an easy winner. The compact is apparantly different, but still perhaps more of an effect than a neutral compressor.

    Ric fingerboards are always a refreshing change from the mundane maple/rosewood/ebony you see on competitors, but that bit of Bubinga(?) is particularly stunning! Really need to try one of these S series basses.

    I'v waited so long for this! So cool to see it finally materialise. Other than the sound sample tease here and there I don't know how it sounds either. Apparently more aggressive than a B7K but at the same time a very different flavour. I can't wait to hear it properly!

    Excellent compressor. After owning the Cali76, MXR, Diamond, 3Leaf and a number of others, this is the one that stayed on my pedal board.

    Up for sale I have my Barefaced Midget-T cab with roqsolid cover. Fantastic cabinet, very small and light but very loud, the dispersion is superb and it's very solidly built. In perfect working and great cosmetic condition. It is missing a foot on one side, believe the Barefaced site links to the exact part needed for a few quid, and has a few small marks here and there as the pics show.. I never stand it on the side missing the foot so never bothered replacing it This is the Generation Two model with the tweeter. A wonderful often overlooked part of the design is the tweeter attenuator pot being placed at fingers reach inside one of the bass ports in the front. No more reaching awkwardly over the back of the cab to adjust. Ingenious, and I don't think the newer models have this feature anymore . This cab stacks remarkably well with the Gen 3 cabs, and Alex actually commented that this technically works better with a Gen 3 Super Compact than a Gen 2 Compact. Originally selling as I am finding the Super Compact being enough for me on its own with the gigs I am doing (PA Support), however in typical GAS fashion I am now looking at replacing with a BF 2x12 to keep the volume but in a 1 Cab solution, so no trades please unless for a Super 12T or Big Twin II. I may also consider a Big Baby II. £350 firm is what I am after for a quick sale. Located in Leamington Spa, will happily deliver most places for petrol money. Cheers!

[/quote] I have one such Dingwall and it's very, very good, well worth the trip to take a look if you are able to! The purple finish is lovey and the Wenge neck is gorgeous.
