    Bougth a NUX Melvin Lee Preamp from Pete and he's a total gent The pedal's in great condtion. He wrapped it stylishly, but very securely, and kept me updated all the way with tracking info. Echoing all the above, don't hesistate to deal with him if you get the chance.

    Anyone be able to identify the bass Colin Angus is playing in this video ? This springs from a late-night discussion with a guitarist friend of mine. To me it looks closest to a Westone, but he reckons something like a Kay. There's a good view at 2.25 - 2.38.

    Another vote for neck dive (Even if you can 'fix it with a broad strap' it's still an badly balanced instrument and that bugs the hell out of me.) Pretend wear Hugely figured body woods - they're gauche and should calm down

    The P-bass for me, it sounds friendlier. The Stingray sounds good, but is just more...aloof.

    Yes, I got the sound of an 'L' too. I can almost hear a vowel sound at the beginning, like there's three syllables but the first is very quiet. Estatlin' is the nearest approximation I can get.....not that that really helps

    Ian bought my Trace Elliot preamp, lovely chap. He drove down from the West Midlands to pick it up and we had a very enjoyable hour or so, chatting about basses and gear. Excellent comms all the way and paid up front, what a star. Don't hesitate in dealing with him if you get the chance.
