    I tried tenor horn in primary school but got bored of it and mimed in recorder lessons in middle school. High school.....no idea, can't even remember having music lessons, although I'm sure I did. Overall I don't really remember what happened in any lessons in school almost 40 years ago.

    A friend of mine recorded an album during lockdown, I'm just checking out some of the results.

    I'm quite partial to a bit of Frond, a friend of mine is a huge fan. We used to cover a couple of their (his ?) tunes when we were in a band together.

    Do all the Ibanez basses with SR model numbers have the thin necks ? My interest is piqued now as I do like a bass with a skinny neck. I can confirm that the Geddy Lee Jazz basses do have deliciously thin necks.

    100%. The folks I play with most often just get together for the fun of it. Try out songs we've written, play our instruments at an decent volume and enjoy the time spent together. For me, it's any excuse to strap on, tune up and play out.

    I used to have a MXR Micro Flanger, lovely thing, but it gave up after a year or two of me owning it and that's when my guitarist buddy gave me his BF-2.
