Hi all, Could anyone help to identify this bass and what it's worth please? I bought it 2 years ago on a whim!! All I was told that it's a Grassroots ESP bass with an ebony fretboard.

Hi all, I picked up a 5 string esp bass yesterday, I don't know what year it was made? I will try and get some pics up later, I ended up buying the bass because I really liked the look of it!! The serial number on back of headstock Is IGO731457 and produced by esp, front side of headstock say's 'Grass Roots' Its a neck-thru and string-thru body, and it takes 2 x 9v batteries, my guitarist believes it to be burl top and not spalted maple. The bass has black hardware, I would really appreciate any help on this. Many thanks, herman.

Hi all, I've just got hold of an ampeg BA500 2x10 combo, Im told the combo will run at 2ohms with a 4ohm extension cab, would it cause any real problem if I used an 8ohm extension cab instead of a 4ohm? I was thinking of an ampeg svt 2x10 8ohm as the extension cab, as I ask, would I cause either the combo or cab any harm? Thanks herman.

Hi all, I've now got GAS for a 6 string!! I spoke to a chap in the local music shop and he said yamaha's do a good 6 string, although he mentioned that he has never tried one!! Any advice/reviews from any of you BC members please? Thanks herman.

Had a look on aria website,the headstock is the same as the IGB integra basses,and the basses that aria are showing have 2 soapbar pickups,and also 1 pickup versions and completely different volume/tone controls!! Thanks herman.

Hi mykesbass, yes it has a 9v battery in where the tone,volume pots are, also there is a little black plastic box with 4 small sliders on it, on the box is the name/word KOCH,and just underneath it say's BPA, there are 3 control knobs on the bass, volume, tone and pickups? The pickups are not soapbar size, more like the width of jazz bass pickups,there is a toggle switch also, could it be for active/passive? Quite a difference in volume between each position of toggle switch. Many thanks,herman.

Hello all, I've got a 5 string aria pro ii bass,got it secondhand about 8 years ago,I've searched on aria forums but I'm still none the wiser as to which year,model etc.I will try and get some pic's up when poss, its a 5 bolt neck and say's made in korea, the serial number is S7020917 if anyone could give me any idea of what it is, I would be most grateful!!
