Phil has done work on my basses and is the only person I would trust with my 64 Jazz. He also does set ups for a guitarist friend of mine who is very particular, and he rates him as the best. Cameron
Hi Wayne Amazing. Just wondering 35", single cut...how is the neckdive? cheers
Thanks.......neck dive has never been an issue for me, as I use a slightly longer strap then angle the neck higher, which changes the centre of gravity. There is however a simple device called a 'Dingus' available from Rick Turner which extends the strap location on the body of the bass if this is an issue.
Gorgeous! Rick Turner builds them to the highest standards.....
Agreed....the RB5's are absolutely superb, unique basses. I have had mine for a number of years and am still reluctant to part with it, but I have returned to playing 4 strings only.

Thanks for the review, I am a fan of Jerry so probably would've bought it.

I have just sold Chris my beloved Sadowsky M24. He is a true gent, we had a hassle free deal and I know she's gone to a good home. I hope you enjoy the bass as much as I have Chris. All the best Cameron
Cam's right, I've played this bass a few times and it's stunning. It's light, plays beautifully and sounds like heaven. I've also heard it live at least 6 times and it just confirms what a great bass this is, I wish I had the money to buy it. Cam is a top bloke, buy with complete confidence.
Thanks for the endorsement Alan
What is the B string like onthis bass ?
The B string is awesome, in fact this was my gigging bass for several years and I always received compliments on my sound. Alan (homer) has heard it in action, I would welcome his comments.

Hi all Here we have a stunning work horse bass in excellent condition with no issues. AAA quilted maple on swamp ash, very light and comfortable. Ebony fretboard Original EMG40J pickups Cherry burst finish Original lightweight Sadowsky case Black hardware. Realistically priced at £1850, to fund a 4 string Sadowsky purchase so I'm not really looking for trades. This bass is in exceptional condition, a couple of tiny laquer dings too small to show on pics and some minor laquer wear on the back of the neck.
Thanks for that, Wayne. I'll keep an eye on it in case you head down this way. If anyone hadn't already noticed my fervour, I can confirm that Wayne's band is absolutely top-notch. Feelgoods devotees should cancel all prior commitments and take in one of their gigs. .
Thanks very much for that, if anyone does come to gigs please come over for a chat. It's always nice to meet fellow Basschatters.
Just joined an upbeat r'n'b trio to compliment my originals band. It's all Dr. Feelgood type-stuff, regular mix of r'n'b and rock 'n' roll. A couple of times, we've gone through 'She Does It Right'. Great song. I've been playing it really simple, keeping it as hard-edged as possible. At the last rehearsal, the guitarist said that on the record, the bass part contains some chords! I've had to go through the song on Youtube, etc, so the bass frequency isn't that great....so I can't really make out what's going on. Anybody played this one before? How did you play it? Any tips on this so I can nail it before next rehearsal?
Thanks for starting this thread mate it's been a good one and I hope the info I gave you comes in handy.
I had intended to go the the Robin gig but I got distracted, Maybe next time around. Always surprises me that there havent been more Dr Feelgood tribute acts than there are. I spose its partly cos yer average punter can only think of Milk & Alcholhol that they know. Till they actually hear Roxette or Wind Up, they dont know who your talking about.
It's surprising how much material there is to go at, we had loads of stuff to choose from without encroaching on Wilko's classics and faves that he uses in his set.
Gosh! I didn't realise it was you! Well, I'm glad the sentiment found its way home to you. High stage at The Robin, IIRC. Anything planned for the future? .
We are still gigging, mainly around Lancashire, details are on www.bigfigures.co.uk there is a link on my profile. By the way Wilko, Norman and Dylan were really nice guys and it was a kick to be able to watch them in full swing....awesome.

Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the compliment. It was a nice gig, I remember it was quite warm as the lights are low, or is the stage high?.....one or the other. Great crowd and we were well looked after, the staff and sound man were really nice people. We got a fairly decent press too, although one reviewer wasn't impressed with our nice clean suits and likened us to RBS employees which rather amused us.
i used to have the 410hlf and my matamp 410 owns it! Much tighter bottom end and it pushes some massive air and really sings. I used to turn the tweeter off on my ampeg and im glad this doesnt have one as to me they are pointless as i dont like twingy fizzy stuff!
+1 couldn't have put it better.
