1. I am putting this up for sale as I'm looking to upgrade to a US Lakland or similar shortly. In aged cream with a mild relic finish and Delano 'P' and 'MM' pickups and eq. Including Sandberg gig bag if collected or basic hardcase if posted. When I bought this from a fellow bass chatter last year the original white plastic nut had been overcut and had a piece stuck on, and whilst working perfectly did not look great, so I had a replacement nut made in ebony and a new set up done. This is a great sounding quality bass and would be well over £1,000 new I'm not really interested in trades, unless in the unlikely event you have a US Lakland Glaub or Alleva 'P' with cash from me. £575 collected from Preston Lancs or could meet up on motorway network within 50 mile ish radius
2. Hi Bob We met at the ACG bash, I have the Rebelhead 450 and two Berg AE112's and it took me a little while to get used to the eq I must admit. I am not exactly a technical player myself and I stuck with it, but don't be afraid to make radical adjustments to experiment until you get the right sound. Also give your ears enough time to adjust, I went through this process after using a Hybrid amp for many years. I am now well pleased with my rig and wouldn't swap. Good luck Cameron
3. I can recommend the Bury Met very highly, Fantastic venue .....good sound man, really friendly staff and a great crowd to boot. This was our first proper headlining gig; it's a new project for us and we sold 200 tickets in advance plus people who paid on the door, thanks to well organised publicity from the venue, a fantastic result. Thanks must go to our support act....the unique acoustic guitarist Tom Doughty, who was very impressive. I know at least a couple of Basschatters were there, thanks guys for your support. Cameron
4. Al...I will be able to make one of those gigs at least. Pete....it's a Blues Jam at the Wellington pub, 124 Tulketh Rd in Ashton Preston. You are more than welcome to sit in on a couple too if you like. Cam
5. Thanks for your support Alan, it's much appreciated.I wish I could reciprocate by attending your Silver dogs gig but I have a Blues Prescription gig with Ant on Saturday. All the best, hope it goes well. Cam

2X18 feedback

Will ......thanks for a straight forward deal on the SG, highly recommended. Cameron
7. You won't be disappointed chaps, if you are Feelgood fans. I was fortunate enough to go to a preview in October last year at the Corner House cinema in Manchester and really enjoyed it. The sound quality was very impressive, and it was a treat to see the original line up in full swing. Cameron
8. Hi all, please check out the link below for details. It would be great to see some Basschatters there. Cheers Cameron. http://themet.biz/event/mark_radcliffe_and...ig_figures/738/
9. PM returned, cheers Will.
10. Had the pleasure of playing this recently, and it really is top notch nice player with a quality low B.
11. Thanks to Alan, Dave and Peter for organising a great bass fest. We really enjoyed the whole thing, from the beer and curry, B&B and the theatre venue which was just right. The Myrtle hollow bodied ACG fretless was superb, congratulations Alan on building that one. Bob's Roscoe, Joe's Sadowsky and Peter's Spector were particularly impressive too. Nice to meet a great bunch of guys as well. Cameron

Be nice to see you again Joe, can't wait to see the Sadowsky.
Excellent news sir I'm really looking forward to this.
Me too........a few pints and a Ruby.......... sounds good to me mate.

Well....I've sent my £30 cheque off today and I'll see you all there. Cameron
14. TC electronics RH 450 is well worth a look at, can't fault them.
15.
Ahh tricky... the new batch of W&T's (the Black Egon 4, Brown 6, blue EJ) is due to arrive next week ..
I would also like to see the boys at W&T make a 'P' clone with a chambered ash body, I have already discussed this briefly with Enrico. Perhaps next year I may take it further. Looking forward to seeing your bass finished Simon. Cameron
16. Bass Direct is well worth a look, quality gear and very good after sales service. Oh......and don't forget to check out the W&T basses.
17. Hi Nathan I hope the Sunn is doing the business for you, I used to use it with an Accugroove Whappo Jr 212 cab and it sounded great. Cameron
18. I can recommend Paul as a great guy to deal with as he bought this from me recently, and you won't find a better Sadowsky Jazz. I don't think this will be around for long.
19. Firstly Al I hope you have a great holiday, and I'm sure you will find a more suitable band when you get back. I don't want to labour the point BUT, you know my opinion of this particular band. Over confidence is something that makes them presume that they can get away without putting the necessary time in. I know that you are VERY meticulous in your own standards of rehearsal, performance and sound and are way too conscientious for them. You know I had a similar experience with a like minded friend of theirs, and had to reluctantly abort a dep gig recently. Nil Desperandum old chap, kick em into touch and move on, put it down to experience. Hope it works out for you mate. Cameron
20.
Whynot was due to get one recently and was about to take it to either a gig or band practice - can't remember which. He might pick up on this thread later....
Cheers Paul
ENC? Check here - Link (Danish too!)
Aaaaaah exactly, hence the gig question. I'm just narrowing down a few options before I decide. Cheers
Yes, bought one last sunday on the way to a gig. Got an ok deal from Bonners plus free footswitch (to follow). Used on 3 gigs so far with 3 different cabs (15, 2x12, 4x10) and very happy with it. I mainly do corporate/wedding gigs and this head is ideal for my situation. As close as you can get to plug a play, courtesy of the on-board tuner and presets. A compressor is important to me and this must be one of the best I've found within an amp. I did a corporate up in Manchester conference centre last night. Had a surprised thumbs up for FOH bass sound within seconds. Will probably get round to commenting on the sound once I've played with it a little more, but like any amp, try before buying if possible.
Thanks very much for the info, please let us know.....Yes I like the idea of the compressor and thought it might be ok quality wise. I have an Eden WT 550 and even though it hasn't let me down I may retire it and use it as a back up.
21.
Yep took the plunge and got one along with a 2 x 10 and 2 x 12 cab. Done a couple of gigs and a number of rehearsal and so far so FAB! Worth getting the foot controller as well IMHO. Still tweaking the sounds but I'm well pleased. Light weight and a doddle to use. Here's a pic.
Cheers for the feedback.....nice rig
22.
Looks interesting...but the price tag put me off it. A lot of features, but the LM3 dragged me in instead!
Yes, I am undecided and may go for the LM3 or Genz shuttle, The built in tuner/multi band comp/ presets and footswitch got me interested in the TC.
