[attachment=250097:20170721_161427.jpg][attachment=250098:20170721_161452.jpg] Free standing combination of Monique preamp and Hypex power amp in one unit. True 700 Watts rms, 3 phase Baxendale type eq similar to Ampeg svt. These superb amps can be ordered new from a couple of specialist bass retailers in the UK, but would cost around £2,000 with probably several weeks wait for import. I will include an old but functional peli case which has protected the amp since I bought it new from Bassgear a couple of years ago. I recorded my last album 'The Other Side' with the Tardis, snippets of which can be heard at www.thestumble.com Selling to free up some cash as my fairly recently aquired Sadowsky SA200 suits my current needs. Willing to deliver/ meet up within reason, but would prefer collection from Preston Lancs. Thanks for looking. Pics weren't supposed to be upside down??

Price or Trade Value : £750 All original Candy red Bought from Pinball and still in the same condition as his original ad below. Original case is functional but not pristine. Will ship at cost. Collection from Preston Lancs or meet up within reason. Not looking for trades thanks. This is a beautiful example of a hard to find bass. It's used but in great condition with only a couple of marks on the headstock, and a strange small darkened stain under the lacquer on the back which according to fender was more than likely original and a stain in the wood. It has been professionally set up and plays extremely well. Neck is true. Electrics are in A1 condition with no noisy pots etc. It comes with the original case, documentation and truss rod adjustment tool. Just checked the authenticity with fender and all fine. Here are the details they gave me from the guitar's serial number: Model Name: American Standard Precision Bass® Fretless Model Number: 019-2208-(Color #) Series: American Standard Series Body: Alder Neck: Graphite Reinforced Maple Fingerboard: Rosewood (9.5” Radius/241 mm) Frets: None, Fretline Position Markers Scale Length: 34” (864 mm) Nut: 1.625” (41.3 mm) Hardware: Chrome Machine Heads: American Standard Bridge: American Standard (Strings-Thru-Body) Pickguard: 3-Ply White Pickups: Vintage '62 P Bass (Mid) Pickup Switching: N/A Controls: Volume, Tone Colour: (709) Candy Apple Red (Disc. 7/98), (Polyurethane Finish) Strings: Stainless Flatwound 9050M, # 073-9050-006 (.055, .070, .090, .105) Case: Standard Molded Case Other Features: Source: CORONA (U.S.) Accessories: Molded Case INTRODUCED: 1995 DISCONTINUED: 1/1999

Hi all I have 1 Berg NV115 cab with official Berg covers in beautiful condition up for grabs. On sale as I'm finding my 112 Baer cabs are more suited to my current projects and I could do to re coup some funds. I may be able to deliver part way, as I do a fair bit of motorway trotting, failing that also available for collection in Preston Lancs. Don't want to ship, thanks. Not looking for trades unless there's a Lull bass with T pickups somewhere in the UK. Priced at £450 Many thanks Cam

Thanks Danny, I did stumble on that one with the strap. Getting the strap height correct is paramount too. It's way better being quite low, but I found that inhibited my fingerstyle over the bridge pickup. Hopefully there should be more vids going up on band website or fb page over next few gigs. www.thestumble.com

Lawrie Macmillan of this parish is probably a good man to ask, he has a rather nice Moolon 5 string. I tried it out on a recent trip up to Scotland to collect his Sadowsky amp....very nice too. Cam

Thanks very much everyone for your advice and opinions. I will be checking out a Lull T4 as soon as possible.

Thanks Jack, all sounds very encouraging indeed.

Hi all I've always been a fan of Thunderbird style basses, but have avoided taking the plunge due to the apparently long necks and balance issues as I'm fairly small in stature. However the Mike Lull T4 model does seem to address these issues. So here is my question...does anyone own one or has anyone tried them out? There are currently none in the UK that I'm aware of, and the larger bodied signature one would look silly on me. Many thanks Cam
