That gig is great. Just thought Id say that
8. I had one very similar to this and it is indeed a 'regret moving it on' bass, absolute stunner when it came to really digging into some funk grooves. Awesome!! Great price too
9.
In the van! most arrangments are done this way,any changes to the songs done at the bar, hehe ,but once in a blue moon the local studios, todate one rehearsal in six months, but thats just us..
Brill, keeps you on your toes ;-)
10.
I would happily walk to Dusseldorf in flippers and carry that thing back the same way if I had £2200
+1. A stunning rig
11. Yes, I keep them in the plus version but they are surprisingly floppy and a little bit disappointing when held against something like a Mono bag. It's very wishful but I'm hoping someone will point me towards a high quality maker like Mono who accommodate the needs of oddball basses. Thanks for responding :-)
12. I just looked at our signatures and it looks as if it could be a case of " when i grow up i want to be Maxmckee"
13. Hi folks I'm trying find a solution to my problem and onder if anyone has any experience they could pass on. Ive got 2 Entwistle style Warwick basses ( Buzzard & Stryker ) which do get used but dont get thrown in and out of vans etc. The full flightcase is complete overkill, too big, too heavy etc. I'd got a Mono dual for my other less pointy basses and would love something similar to accomodate the oddballs but cant find anything like that. Ive seen the Thomann bags but havent seen them to know their quality etc. I guess an explorer bag would be the ideal, any explorer bass users found anything out there that seriously does a good job? If you could signpost me somewhere you may know of or even to the extreme of a bespoke gigbag maker. Cheers folks Col
14. Just took part in a successful 3 way trade. Totally honest, reliable and a top bloke too Cheers Carlos

16. Pete, You leave me stunned by the quality of bass you use and move around. I'll catch one someday. Have a Bump
17.
With the fscs only protecting £85k per bank that goes tits-up, you can run out of banks when trying to save fairly safely. So given the eggs/baskets scenario and the fact that you don't actually make a lot of interest on savings these days, it makes sense (certainly for me) to buy commodities which are not going to lose money, may gain a little and can be enjoyed too. CB
+1 my basses may not be 'investments' but with the savings rates being poor they are a lot more fun than an ISA.
18. Where theres will theres a way
19. Aarrrghhhhh gutted Have a heavy hearted bump
20. You mentioned you would possibly trade for the Stryker. This very special bass is mine and possibly up for sale / trade. What combo of your Warwicks or bass + cash would you want to offer? Please bear in mind i'm not looking at fretless
21. Now for that id swap the W&T
