Traded a bass with Mike on the M4. Great to deal with, all above board. A real gent, wouldn't hesitate in trading again. Cheers sk8 Col
  5. Love the Bass....ooohhhh suit you sir Just had another 'The Who tribute band' itch..
  6. ive got one of these, loads of fun and some great sounds. cheap as chips av a bump
  7. £900 for a 90's Jazz? Hmmmmm, and the rarity?? Hmmmmm Whats that I can smell???? Good luck to him
  8. Trade agreed pending the usual
  9. Im a total opposite. I love the blocks, my fave Jazz has black blocks and Id seriously love to have a rosewood board with pearl blocks. I find quilted maple and elaborate flaming a complete put off, makes a bass look like cheap furniture. Horses for courses.
  10. Must be someone who needs a top whack P bass. Please don't assume this is the same as the Standard. She's a very different beast. Smacks of Quality and feels alive!!!!
  11. A precision trade of any interest Sir? Is the nut still cut for a high C ?
  12. Traded
  13. have a bump for such loveliness
  14. If I had it Id hand it over. All being present and correct it has to be the Ultimate Jazz. I'd gig it too!
  15. This is a live recording of Pat Grover & The Hawks at Tenby Blues Festival. Very much a scratch blues band so not rehearsed, recording a bit sketchy but your feedback, comments and bass related constructive criticism welcome. http://www.reverbnation.com/play_now/song_13322887 I'm off to listen to you guys play ;-) Hope you enjoy
  16. Never seen one of these. Thats a real stunner!!!
  17. Please remove. Thanks
  18. Im really in the market for an EBS Micro Bass II. I sold mine a while ago and missed it every day since. If youve got one and fancy a deal I'd be prepared to straight swap as long as you cover the courier (about £30) I reckon that would be a loss for me and great deal for someone who wants a FABULOUSLY POWERFUL and GRACEFUL Bass amp. Cheers Col
  19. Well I'll be damned. Ive just forked out for some Rotosound 77s for my Jazz bass. Never even tried flatwounds before, except on my upright . WHERE THE HELL HAVE I BEEN?? The sound Ive been aiming for all these years just fell into my hands. Roundwounds in the bin. Im still in shock!!!!!!
  20. Absolutely unused full set of Rotosound 77 Jazz Bass Flatwounds. Gauges: 40 - 50 - 75 - 90 I fitted the G string and it was just too short so the covered end is ever so slightly kinked, was on the bass for less than 20 seconds. I paid £27 for the set Make me a decent offer for a virtually brand new set. Just got my long scale set and they are awesome... Cheers Col
  21. On the contrary Sir but the pay is better Check out Lowri Evans & Band on "Uned 5" S4C Sunday 29th for a bit of live Jazz / Folk / Acoustica. Cheers Col
