Im selling my Ashdown UK ABM 500 EVO Head as Ive just bought another Ashdown. Brand new Mains transformer fitted and tested by Ashdown. Serviced regularly. SPEC: The ABM 500 EVO is a 575W RMS bass amp head designed to satisfy both bass purists and tech-heads alike. Three rotary tone controls provide 20dB of cut and boost at 60Hz, 660Hz and 5kHz and are supplemented by two pairs of additional sliders, giving 15dB cut and boost at 180Hz, 340Hz, 1.3kHz, and 2.6kHz. The EQ can be switched on/off and flat/shaped by footswitch, enabling you to go from a flat fretless sound to a boosted sound with ease. A blend of solid state and dual-triode tube preamp stages can be preset and selected by footswitch, providing access to a massive range of clean, warm, and overdriven tones. The footswitchable subharmonic generator precisely tracks the main signal and reproduces it an octave lower. A subharmonic level control lets you add just the right amount of low-end reinforcement-everything from a subtle thickening of the sound to unbridled, bone-crushing tone. The ABM 500 EVO also features a front panel-mounted balanced direct out with pre- or post-EQ switching, a sub-bass output, tuner output, FX loop, and a line input for connecting an external sampler or sound source. Output muting cuts the signal from the direct out but leaves the tuner output live, allowing silent tuning. The power section has faster transient attack, massive headroom, and even less noise. The head has been professionally re-sleeved by Ashdown. This is an incredible high quality amp with tons of power on tap. You can confidently ignore anything youve heard about woolly Ashdowns, it's all bollox. This beast is the dogs nads!!!! The only reason its for sale is that Ive always had my eye on the Classic Series since they came out as their flagship and Ive now got my hands on a lovely usa Ashdown Combo so this can now move on and make someone else sound great. Reluctantly for sale is my EBS Microbass II in excellent condition with original box and leaflets etc. An awesome piece of equipment and I guarantee whoever buys this will LOVE it. Great as just an overdrive pedal but capable of soooooo much more. It even does the headphone amp with CD/MP3 input to jam along silently alongside DI, blender, preamp jobs. Hi, Looking for an interesting trade for my stunning and beautiful Fender Jazz. Im gassing for a through neck Warwick but would like to hear offers of 4 stringers in general. The bass is in fine form and comes with hardcase and all the original bits from the upgrades i.e P'ups, bridge, tuner + white scratchplate. In very good condition, no original box but it has been housed in a pedalboard for its whole life (12 months) This BIG brother of the Phase 90 offers a much broader. more flexible range of sounds in a chunkier unit. Along with the speed control there is a four-position rotary switch that selects four different intensities, defined as preset waveform patterns. Between the intensity and speed settings, you'll find quite a supply of excellent sounds tucked away in this orange casing.
