Most pedal power supplies are transformer type, linear regulated designs, which are cheap to design and develop, but are expensive to make (and therefore buy), noisier, bigger, heavier and they get much hotter! Cheaper power supplies are usually under-rated, unregulated, poorly filtered designs that polute your guitar's signal with splurges of noise and hum. More expensive power supplies are often engineering marvels, but there really is no need and they cost far too much. Capable of a wide range of effects from auto-wah through to spaced-out, auto-triggered funky tones, the sweep of the filter can be either up or down with selection of band-pass or high pass filter modes. A peak control is provided to deepen the 'Q' for more extreme effects and the depth of the effect is controlled by the volume of each note as it's played, making this a truly creative and dynamic pedal. The pedal is housed in a durable metal case and features an input level control with a trademark illuminated Ashdown VU meter to allow optimum signal matching from any instrument – active or passive. Has one input and output for 1/4 plug, and the pedal is can be either powered by a 9Volt battery or a center negative powersupply. The pedal features one stomp footswitch, three control knobs Delay-Time, Blend and Repeat, a two-way switch to select the delay times of 1100s or 600s.
