I'm going to offer them on here for a short time before I access more mainstream avenues of selling. They are priced at what they cost me as ive been very active in trading lately. Not looking for trades. OK....here we go: 1) Status Graphite Buzzard - 2. Sale or Trade Up for sale is this very rare and WHITE HOT custom order early Status Buzzard 2 in blackburst. Superb condition with no dings, knocks or scratches. Alder body with black hardware, graphite neck with roman numeral inlays and red side LEDs. Comes with the original Status full fitted flightcase and all paperwork inc order sheet & invoice. An early model that sports the ' Buzzard' logo prior to legal issues between the Entwistle estate, Warwick and Status to which this bass was not connected except in name. An amazingly flexible 18v EQ fed by Status Hyperactive pups. Original paperwork & case candy included. A collectors piece or a bass for someone looking for something seriously unusual that really does do everything. These are exceedingly rare and the old ones even more so, they were made strictly on an order only basis and really is quite special. £1950 plus p&p Will entertain offers of trades for quality 5 string basses of similar or less value with cash adjustment. Pics here: http://s1189.photobucket.com/user/Col4string/library/Status%20Buzzard%202 2) Warwick Streamer P - Nut Signature III. Sale Only The Body is Australian Blackwood Burl and Purpleheart with a hidden Ovangkol and Ekenga thru neck. This is finished off with a Tigerstripe Ebony fingerboard with the P - Nut designed swirl inlays and matching burl headstock. Hipshot Extender fitted to the B string. Active 3 way Seymour Duncan Basslines electronics with SJ5-3N and SMB-5D pickups with the usual coil tap switch. The neck is slightly slimmer on this bass compared to the number 2. Comes with complete Warwick User Kit and signed certificate of authenticity in a quality gig bag. Price £2000 Pics Here: http://s1189.photobucket.com/user/Col4string/library/Warwick%20P-Nut%20III These basses are my pride and joy, I've worked, ducked and dived for years to acquire them. I cant justify keeping them as like most of us I could only afford my gear whilst they were earning their keep. I cant possibly play them all without work so they need new players who'll continue to put them through their paces. Any trial is welcome with free tea and coffee. Fire any question via inbox or at [email protected]. As these are a bit stiff cost wise I understand if you'd prefer to talk about deals. If so, inbox me your name & number and a convenient time and i'll call. The Basses are advertised elsewhere!

I'm waiting for my big sound project which was born from a long discussion with Tom. He took as much time as was needed and explored loads of options. The pedal Ive got coming should be pretty nuclear as its a combo of distortion, overdrive and interactive sub octaver via foot controller ( wah ) Im also buying an Envelope Filter he had built for himself. Its taking time but hes a busy man and wants to get it right. It wasnt a low cost project but for the design work, build time and testing etc it could have been double the price Tom charged me. I think Cog effects will be affecting more and more bassists soundscape for many years. A good man!

Ha ha, looks great on all shapes. Just look at the new metal bands out there. It appears to me that the svelte shaped rock gods of yore have long gone. The Jaegermeister/Beer/KFC lifestyle has replaced the hefty amphetamine habits lol. Its a great guitar, plays and sounds superb and the trem is top notch with regard intonation and tuning stability sfter a few divebombs.

My mother did that kind of thing to me all my bloody childhood years. Never been so happy to get a paper round and get some adidas. I hate number names. The Ibanez range is totally unnecessary and confusing to the inexperienced, a cool name is a great opportunity to sex up the product IMO

Manic Street Preachers - Sleepflower In particular the build out of the middle 8. Not my fave bassist but the sound and groove is fab Motorhead - Motorhead from No sleep til Hammersmith Megadeth - Bad Omen from Peace Sells.....

Just completed a transatlantic trade of very high end basses with Brad. Absolutely no problems throughout. Bass as described, questions answered when asked and all carried out to its utmost. A ballsy trade that went off perfectly. A chatty and very friendly guy who Id highly recommend for trading 100% trustworthy. Hes got some amazing basses too. 100% respect Cheers Brad, heres to the next one Col

Ive played blues for a bit of a bass hero for years. What ive found is to never fear the silence on slow tracks, a note can ring for 3 even 4 bars. A great album for a fresh modern approach is Little Walter 'C'mon in da house' wSuper old school with a more modern approach to the rhythm section, certainly pricked my ears up. Blues is a funny genre as its pretty free within strict formulae, sounds like your well on top of it, just have a good listen around to convince yourself of this and maybe inspire some new moves. Good luck and blues on ;-)

I cut a string too short, but found a solution!!!!!!
CPBass replied to tommorichards's topic in Bass Guitars
When i started out and skint i relied on these repairs, even gigged with them. I had no choice, times were too hard to think of a new set, plus a long bus ride to the nearest shop, new strings were birthday or christmas materials. A great way out of a spot. I'm a tad more selective these days.
