i have an ibanez sr506, happy with the sound, look, feel and weight however the bridge proved to be a real problem. i actualy have 2 in my possesion at the moment and the both fall down the same pit hole. The grub screws sink into the saddles creating clinky noises when fretted. especialy on the A,D and G strings. had to buy a new bridge as the stock ones are seemling awful. theres a few bits and bobs on the net slating the 'nez SR506 bridges. i would imagine its a problem with the stock bridges on the whole SR series although i can only seem to find complaints about the 506 series...

not sure if this is the correct place to put this put i cant find any thread that deals with Live sound. but heres my problem. i want to blend a driven tone from a pedal with the clean sound of my amp so say if i got a splitter like the boss ls-2 (for example) and blended my signal that way, if im playing live and the Amp is getting DI'd will the sound guy get the blended singal or just the sound of the pedal or amp? ive been told micing the cabs may be an option to get the driven tone out but im not sure that will be always avaliable. im tempted to get a sansamp to do it for me but i want to be able to choose the frequencys i blend (keep the clean amp for the bottom end and drive the mids and highs) what would you guys/gals recommend? been playing for 2 years and my quest for tonal nirvarna has begun. im sure youve all been there. heres an example of the sound im going for (cheers Joe Garcia) [url="http://music.anta.me.uk/"]http://music.anta.me.uk/[/url]

anyone who is a fan of modern metal will probably of herad of TesseracT (if not go get their album "one" now!) i was really interested to see them do a few accoustic versions of their songs. ill put a link down bellow , the bass tone is sweet and works well with the acoustic. Theres a Buckley cover on their too! Would love to know peoples thoughts on this. Think the free cab sim (lecab) is only for windows i will check out redwirez!

That looks gorgeous haha bet its meaty as hell! unfortunatly i use rack gear, and i cant be bothered to split the weight of my amp and rack gear think i might just stick with my svt classics (410 and 115) ive decided i like them again

anyone know of any good ones? anyone uses any? ones that work for mac would be great

hmmm nice, ill keep my eye on that. price is a tad high for what it is i think. either that or im underselling my 4x10

Hi im looking to sell my 410 HE and replace it with a 210 or 212 of similar value, the weight isnt the issue its more the size of it for transport purposes. so i guess mybudget would be around 250-300. any advice? i have an ibanez sr506 bass running through an Ampeg svt 3 with an Ampeg SVT classic 115 (which is gorgeous)looking to pair it up with something a bit smaler than the 4x10. roll up and declare your love for the 2x10's thanks Paul
