Hi Folks, Happy New Year! Hope everyone had a good Xmas & New Year? I sort of bought this on a whim and I'm really not a 5 string player! So hence, I'm putting it up for sale. It's a standard OLP 5 String, nice chunky bridge and has a natural finish. The bass sounds great, but I can't justify owning it when I just use the low B as a thumb rest! In good condition but has a slight tarnish to the underside of the body, but it's not visible when playing. I'm looking for £160 but open to reasonable offers or trades, just try me! Based in Leeds and can deliver within a reasonable distance or post at buyers expense. I've tried to upload some pics via photobucket (hopefully they'll work, if not I can email). Thanks for looking! I've owned a few behringer pedals (bd121 sans amp rip, bod100 boss overdrive rip) and whilst I was happy with the sound ; they both conked out on me after about a year! The bd121 fried itself and the bod100 just literally fell apart. But I was well pleased with them and I guess for the money, you can just buy new ones?!

I've got a Hartke Bass Attack, which I must say, is very good. Loads of options, selectable shape control (which I personally don't use, as my rig is pretty low endy!). I am proper GASing for a Bass Driver though.....

So I've agreed to go try out Spector Performer 4 on Friday from a lad that's selling one near me. Just wondered, having never owned or played a Spector - what can I expect? It's priced at £150 which seems to be pretty good value I thought..... It's also loaded with a set of EMG's so I'm pretty looking forward to it! Just wondered if anybody has ever played/owned/tried one? Cheers
If you want to tell me about my wrong (actually, I prefer "different") lines, the back of the queue's out the pub, and up past the butchers
You play all the right notes, just not neccesarily in the right order!..... -
chocolate starfish in the pub.....

I had a guy come up to me at a gig the other week - he was mortal drunk - he didn't take very kindly to me, for some reason and kept saying that the only reason I chose to play bass is because it is easier than the guitar! I just said "Yeah mate, that's why" and walked off. What a mouthbreather..... -

I had a similar worry with my TC BH250 - but I don't know why. I couldn't even get the master past 12 O'Clock. I think for me, I'm used to massive, heavy gear - so it's a bit psychological! I do love it though, fits in a small carry case and in my rucksack!

It's not as bigas you might think. They made them pretty compact. Can get that, my head and my guitarists ac30 in the back of my fiesta!
