1. I picked up a 11 year old Squier P last year for a good price. Once I set it up and played it, I was really surprised at the quality. I replaced the white pickguard with a tort one and put in a SD SPB1 and chrome covers with tugbar and it looks like an old 60,s one from a distance!
2. The seller hasnt bumped it for a while, so it may not still be for sale.
3. Maybe MDP might buy it, and convert it!
4.
How does the rock back thing work? Are they the original tracks or high quality covers (I've never played rock band / guitar hero).
Yea, all original. IIRC, they had some trouble with the beatles rock band, as the bass and drums were on the same track and were digitally seperated.
5. The best ones are the mock tweed ones, they are top quality!
6. I recently bought a fender bass combo fron DV so I dont know why they stopped selling guitars!
7. About 6 -8 months. My first band did a lot of Jam covers including The bitterest pill and funeral pyre with the Beatles taxman thrown in! On a Westone thunder 1 from my mates mums littlewoods catalogue at 20ppw

12.
You mean the markbass one?
No I think its a generic one that sits on the top of a combo and the neck rests in it. The body rests on the floor.
13. No pics due to iPhone malfunction, however, this is a pic borrowed from the interweb to show how it looks. bump.
14. I remember reading about a stand you could rest your guitar on, which attached to your amp. Can anyone tell me what they are called??
15. John Mc Vies' job in Fleetwood Mac will suit me.
16.
As I understand it, it is a legal requirement for mains-powered portable kit (e.g. bass amps!) to come with a UK mains lead. (There is an exemtion for 'bathroom appliances like shavers and toothbrushes).
Obviously its not a well known legal requirement then! Still, DV247 had a replacement lead at my front door at 8.30 the following morning so top marks to them.
17. I bought a Swift Stratocaster copy a few years ago. The frets were so sharp and poorly installed they cut my hands. It was totally unplayable. I sold it on ebay for parts and made more than I bought it for!!
