1. £50? - and you kept the change I hope.
2. Lemon oil for fretboards, linseed oil for cricket bats.
3. I actually play in two covers bands. The first one is a cheesy cabaret band where I can be playing old cheese like ' Spanish Eyes' and a rock covers band where I can play stuff like 'Overdose' by AC/DC. Its good to be versatile.
4. Have a look at the Roland Cube, The 100w is enough for the smaller venue and light enough to fit in the boot.
5. You dont have to play it loud yer know, I play through the amp and its no higher than a normal stereo system and nobody ever complains. Unless of course you want to do a 'Back to the future' on it!!
6. Well I gigged this last night and it was brilliant! A great punchy sound that even the drummer commented on! Nice neck and well balanced body, no neck diving thanks to those tiny tuners. Beautiful action c/o yours truly, with a lovely smooth brand new feel to it. Even the stock strings that I was going to change sounded bright and full through my Warwick combo. Highly recommended to P bass players on the look out for a new bass. Last years basses at a knock down price? you bet. Hobbayne's 5 star rating*****
7.
My new toy
Mmm! Shiney!

11. I was going to leave it on, but it started peeling off by itself, and you know how it is, one peel leads to another and...
12. Just spent the past half an hour peeling the protective plastic film from the scratchplate of my new P bass. I have managed to peel most of it off, but there is still some under the controls and jack socket which I cant get to without taking them off. Why dont they take this off before assembling the guitar?? Rant over, as you were.
13. Came with my new 2011 Fender Precision American Standard bass case candy bag. £5 anyone??
14. The same ones that completely erase my memory when half way through a song I cant remember what comes next!!
15. Maiden Scotland, I like that!! - Still need a name for my new rock covers band and we have a gig on Thursday
16. I would love to see pictures if you have any.

18. Then theres the 'I,ve got a mate over there who can sing, can she sing one song?' Reluctantly agree and get pissed up woman stumbling up on stage and begins wailing completely off key... 'Karazee, Karazee for feeling so loneleee!! Hic!'
19. Cheers guys! Whats a suitable quality setting to take less space on the card?
20. Just a rehearsal. I want to leave it in a corner and let it run. There are so many options of wave and mp3 and file sizes kilobytes etc.
21. If I want to record for a long while and am not that bothered about quality, what is the best recording setting to use? There is a vast choice of wave and mp3 options to choose from and I am a bit bewildered.

Where did you get them? Are they adhesive stickers??
23.
I've just drummed along to it, and it sounds great. Roger and John made a very nice dynamic and fluid rhythm section.
Ok great! - It just seemed to my ears that the timing was out. I must say how different it sounds on its own though!
