5. Ive got one, its not brilliant but I plug the bass in and take a line in from the laptop and I can jam along with whatever i,m working on. It does what I want it do do, but as i said, its not brilliant, and also quiet pricey too!

 8.
They look the part but they aren't - in my experience. And they are not highly valued and the prices in these threads are ridiculous. If you want to buy them anyway and don't mind losing £300+ when you come to re-sell it then go right ahead. These are stupid prices.
But we cant say that on here, as its against forum rules.
 9. Is that the one where a very young Amy Winehouse appears? Wembley 2004?

 13. I think I have seen that before On here a while ago. The lettering on the headstock looks wrong, offset countour body on a P bass?

 16.
Play for free?
Only once mind you, the other guys in the band are up for it. Its not something I would like to do on a regular basis.
 17. I have recently put together a rock/blues band playing everything from Ac/Dc to ZZ top, via Bad Company and Thin Lizzy. As the band founder, the guys are looking at me to find the gigs, something I have never had to do before!! Can anyone give me the heads up on some venues in and around London, Surrey, Berks and Bucks? I dont mind playing for free at first, just to get a foot in the door. Cheers, Hobbayne.
 18. Wow! can you take a picture? I would like to see how that looks

 21.
Fine looking Bass BTW...
Thanks Rushbo, its just a mid 90's Korean Squier with Seymour Duncan vintage SBP1 pickups, a cheapo tort pickguard and tugbar and F****r logo on headstock.
 22. I kitted out my sunburst Squier P in those lovely shiney covers recently to get that oldey authenticky looke. Gigged it on Saturday, what a disaster! I was all over the place! Nowhere to put me thumb, I was well out of my comfort zone Do any of you guys play with these on? I may give it another crack, but keep yer eyes on the for sale section.
 23. I always used to use rotosound steel strings but now use Ernie Ball nickels. Much easier on fingertips and frets too.
