Yes, bloke on the Speed Triple, although he's much smaller in real life.
I work with his wife, shes got more tats than him!!
I popped my P bass in last week for a minor setup and neck tweak. I called them this morning and spoke to Alex who told me it was ready.
After trudging from Ealing to Camden in the rain, It transpired it wasnt ready at all!!
So I wasnt happy.
Martin however, dropped what he was doing and set to work straight away on it while I had a pint across the road, and it was done within the hour!.
So I was not too bothered in the end.
I bought a Stingray off of here earlier this year and gigged it once or twice with my band - but TBH, its not really suited to the music I play. I still prefer the old fashioned thump of a Precision bass in all honesty.
Still its horses for courses, there are some folk on here who wont be seen dead with a Fender.
This takes not only the biscuit, but the whole pack!!

I play in a function band and are sometimes asked to play old reggae classics - 'Kingston Town, Three Little Birds' etc.
But you cant do much with spindley cheesewire strings.
Hence 45 - 105 on a Precision for me (Roundwounds with the treble rolled off)

Boring fact No. 459.
Did you know that The Beatles 1966 album 'Revolver' was originally going to be recorded in Memphis, Tennessee and NOT Abbey Road Studios in London??
My old 1977 USA P Bass was over 9 pounds! I had to wear a 3 inch leather strap to support it! My Ray feels much better. The VM Jazz is almost featherlite.
Looks great! I had one of those Columbuses back in the 1980's and that had those silly little tuners on as well. How about a tugbar under the G string for the vintage look?
And keep smiling. Be confident in your abilities. I have auditioned people in the past who stand there staring at their shoes and mumbling. Needless to say, they didnt get the job.
