I use a Markbass CMD 121 for smaller pub gigs with my loud rock covers band.
For bigger places I add the matching cab for a bit of heft.
Both loud and punchy enough for a 5 piece rock covers band, and small and light enough to fit in the boot of a ford fiesta.
You need one of these.......https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/P-bass-by-PCGC-a-two-tone-bass-with-custom-refinements/193032406165?hash=item2cf1a0c495:g:EtcAAOSwsU5dSFsq
And it will be the only one in India! - You will be famous!!
That bass the OP was after was first listed for sale on the 3rd of June. Maybe he did change his mind. But I do agree that the seller should have let the OP know that it was no longer for sale if he knew the OP was set to purchase it.
On the other hand, there is another Limelight up for sale. 😊
First bass - Satellite short scale thing. No amp though.
First Proper bass and amp - Westone Thunder 1 and Vox 50 combo from a Littlewoods catalogue circa 1983.
Well, I don’t know what’s going on! I originally posted Telstar by the tornadoes, featuring Heinz in some good closeups!
But when I refresh the page it is now the shadows!
sod it, I’m going down the pub! 😡
Mmm! .. let me think.
1. Limelight 1963 Precision in Sonic Blue.
2. Fender P USA in Olly White circa 2008
3. Fender P MIM LPB
4. Squier bitsa P with SDPB1 pick up
5. Yamaha BB 5 string.
I think the original Fender Pick up covers were supposed to block interference from electric lights or summat.
The bridge ones acted as mutes or dampeners.
I craved after a pair to put on my sunburst/tort P Bass, but rapidly took them off as they did indeed get in the way.
