I need to clear out some of my bass guitars so I am offering for sale this 2015 Nate Mendell fender precision. Bought new from Wunjo's in London's Denmark Street in October 2015. The pick ups have been replaced with a Seymour Duncan SPB1 for a more vintage sound. The original quarter pounder pick up is included. I do not have the original gig bag for it , but it will be delivered in a generic gig bag. I am looking for £660 £650 posted. Sorry, not looking for trades. Any questions please let me know.
  6. If they are your stools then you really need to eat more fibre! Can you park anywhere on the Hanger Lane gyratory??
  7. I see Steve Harris has his own strings. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Rotosound-Monel-Harris-Flatwound-Strings/dp/B0002GNY0A Does a heavier gauge give a better tone for heavy rock?
  8. Thanks Greek, I shall have a perusal.
  9. Has anyone had Creamery Pickups on their basses? I was given the heads up on these by my guitar tech. I must say, I quite fancy the idea of the 1965 P Bass pickup. https://www.creamery-pickups.co.uk/custom-handwound-pickups-from-the-creamery/scatterwound-bass-pickups.html#PBASS65
  10. I have an old Korean Squier P bass from the mid 90's. I have fitted it with SPB1 pickups. It is one of my regular go to basses. Great neck and a rocking sound.
  11. Collection only from Bristol. I may have put in a bid if it was closer. Good hard case for peanuts.
  12. If space is a problem, The Markbass CMD 121 is 12 inches really pokey and tiny to boot. https://www.thomann.de/gb/markbass_mini_cmd_121p_lm3.htm?glp=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw7tfVBRB0EiwAiSYGM9Y_lUasgya3YvaqI2hwY8Q-68uDguxROz9gOGYNiKUyeDtAcFijWxoChXoQAvD_BwE
  13. I used to buy those cheap and cheerful cassettes from the market. I was only a kid and couldnt afford anything decent. They used to clog up the tape heads with that sticky brown gunk.
  14. We drive ourselves to gigs. The two git wrists live quite close to each other, so they car share. I have the Markbass combo and ext speaker which can quite happily fit in the boot of my Fiesta. The singer always gets there early to set up the lights and PA etc.
  15. I didnt think you could get KFC these days?
  16. I saw it a couple of years ago and loved it. The costumes and pit band were amazing!
  17. Tried them and cant get on with them. I,m sure they will quiten down a bit when they bed in.
  18. They are just so noisy when I run my hand over them. I must be too used to old strings!
  19. I have today taken delivery of a MIM P Bass which came with the factory fitted Fender strings. Scrape, screech! etc. I'm thinking of maybe fitting some of my favourite Ernie Ball Regular Slinkies ASAP! I guess they must be steel or nickle plated at least. Blimey!
  20. The closed back tuners are similar to an old Columbus Jazz I had back in the eighties.
  21. That reminds me. The Yew tree in my garden needs trimming.
  22. Trying to be overly funny, sometimes fails big time. Patronising is a word that springs to mind.
