Fleetwood Mac - Behind The Mask. Released in 1990 after Lindsey Buckingham quit after the million selling Tango In The Night. They had to get two guys in to replace him. It got panned, but I think its great!

Has anyone used one of these for a recording? I am currently in the studio making an EP with my band, and the engineer miked up the speaker of this little combo, while simultaneously running a line out from the XLR. I must say, I was quite impressed with the sound. I wasnt bothered about miking the speaker, but the engineer said it would sound great. And it did!

Didnt they change the Pickups from 2012 onwards?

I very much doubt you can find a true isolated bassline. A lot of stuff from the 60's were recorded on 3 or 4 track tape. The bass was probably mixed together with the drums and guitars.

Leave it and see how it goes. The effect might be barely noticeable.

Poor old sod has had his operation cancelled too.
