After our final number, our singer introduces the band one by one starting with the drummer who plays a groove followed by me with the bassline, and then the guitarists before launching into our final number.
Does anyone else introduce their band members in a quirky way?
I,m quite lucky in the fact although I,m 51, I,m not the oldest in my band.
Guitar 1 is 53, singer is my age at 51, guitar 2 is 46 and drummer is only 32 bless.
Having been using overdrive for a few months now, I was wondering how subtley people use it. For example, our 2 guitarists both use overdrive so would using it on the bass as well, be too much??
At the end of the day we are entertainers being paid to entertain. I cant stand many of the songs we do but dont keep moaning about them.
When I see the crowd all bopping about and singing along, I know we are doing a good job.
I recently got myself one of these after the positive reviews I read.
There are a couple of preset effects that I quite like.
My question is 'Can I cue a preset to be called up after finishing one song which used another setting?'
At my last gig I was frantically pressing the foot switch to get to my next one before the band started the next number.
Leave well alone mate! - Follow your head.

Awesome so is the Classic Pro considered the better of the options? Or does it depend onw hat your using it for?
Is £350 about the right price to pay for a used one? I can buy a classic pro from GAK for £379.

I believe this one comes with a fitted case/gigbag. Because of the angular shape, most gigbags wont fit a TBird.
You could try to haggle.
The Pro IV has the thru neck and the USA pickups.
Nice example of a used one here.

I,m not aware of a 5 string version.
The Beatles - Glass Onion has them referencing their own songs.
'I told you 'bout Strawberry Fields'
'Lady Madonna tryin' to make ends meet'
'I told you 'bout the fool on the hill'
Well, I picked it up today and am quite impressed. Although its only a backup bass it may get more outings than I intended.
The bass is heavier than I remembered, although it is a basswood body.
Everything is a lot better than some of the budget basses.
Tuners are well made and hold the tuning spot on.
Pickups are punchy and the 2 EQ boost/cut controls are acceptable but not up to the original USA Ray.
The neck is 38mm at the nut.[attachment=213760:FullSizeRender.jpg]
