  1. Sounds like you may have a hump at the top of the neck. These are common in some Fenders. Take it a shop or luthier and have them look at it.

  5. Looking at this for my markbass mini cmd 121 combo. I have a couple of questions. How do you connect it to the combo? What is the dial on the side for? I have only ever used a bass combo amp in my recent years, and technology has moved on.
  6. I recently moved over to E.B nickle strings after using a mates bass and much preferred the feel and tone to the Rotosound steels I had been using for years. I find the zing goes about the same time as the Rotos, so I dont hold with the belief in some players that nickles die quicker.
  7. Angie by The Stones. I have created my own bass line for it, using elements of different songs I have pinched. The band always comment on how good it sounds.

  18. I must confess I use them more and more these days. I used to sit there with a cup of milky tea and a cream horn, listening to the song and stopping and starting it to pick the bass line out. Now with tabs and you tube I have been getting very lazy.
