How is the drummer doing it? I struggled to nail a fast 8th note line for a simlar song for an audition once, and eventually nailed it. Only to find the drummer played it differently and my original part wouldnt fit. I played a much easier 4 to the bar line and no one noticed!

Nice! Who did that for you?

I use tabs however, they are only useful if you are familar with the tune being played. 'Money' for example, a tab would be useless if you have never heard the song.

No. The drummer buys his own stuff, the bassist and guitarists the same. The only thing we all contribute to is things like PA stuff, lights etc.
