1. Organise at the end of each gig for a member to come up and ask how you got the bass to sound so huge. 'I keep the volume down on stage so that well over 1000w can crush these puny guitarists, mwahahaha. PS. I feel that the evil laugh IS needed in this situation
2.
Enjoy the weekend lads! pint anyone?
I wish... practicing over 12 hours a day for the next week lol
3. The offer stands though I'll try and get the entries up tomorrow, I'm heading up Norwich way so it wont be first thing in the morning
4. If you want to make the change and change your entry then drop me a line bilbo.

7. It's our album release gig! My first time headlining too, if anyone is coming then let me know so I can look for someone staring at fretboards
8. Our first gig is lined up and we have excellent support, if anyone fancies coming let me know!
9. Get atleast 61 keys,if you can afford it and have space then 88. CME and M AUDIO are the first beands to spring to mind for midi only control
10.
I've had experience of a pretty untunable B string before. In that case it was an old and utterly dead string which had zero overtones or harmonics left in it. Pretty tuneless thing with no music left in it.
Sounds like a bass drum
11.
Maybe not in Wales, but there is at least one in England. Well, my local Cash Converters in Norwich...
My guitarist works there!!! Next time you're in ask to see Dan.... if he's in walk up to him and shout "SOOOOMEEERRRSHAAAAAAM" and walk off. It's an ongoing joke
12. Also why not see about ordering in some basses from some luthiers rather than mass produced? I know some people are gagging to try out some of xylems basses but have no way to try them
13. Anything that isn't a fender copy please
14. I can't be of much help other than to say:

This shape in lefty REALLY confuses my eyes
Proceed with caution : If I wanted to sell a Ric and was that way inclined then one way to make slightly more money may be to flip every picture horizontally and claim it's a leftie. More demand even if there's less people due to the rarity. Upon buying it you would have to prove it's not lefthanded in order to make any kind of claim. In which time they could disappear.
So yeah, just be a bit careful
15. Cut your bass a little bit, boost low mids (or if you don't have those then the mids), cut treble a little bit Alternatively do the above to the keys and the opposite to the bass. You're occupying the same frequency range and fighting, no amp will fix that. Well... saying that 1600W of "Shut Up the Keyboard Player"
16. Tell Newtone what you want and they'll make it for you
17.
Being a mono-instrumentalist
You only have to compose the piece you could always get a singer, drummer and guitarist involved if you like. Or use midi instruments, or even... looped bass parts? As for no way to record... This just means you need a way to record, cheap interfaces can be found and nothing is more satisfying and potentially horrifying at the same time (Some of the recordings I've done in the past have frustrated me to the point of practicing )
18. Pffft that's not too bad, you wait until you encounter midi latency now THAT's annoying!
19. In my band we balance each other out in many ways. The singer can be pretty flakey BUT.. it's the nature of his current situation and he has to take almost any job that comes up. The guitarist can sometimes focus on the wrong stuff, small nudge in the right direction and he's by far the best at getting songs down in no time. Me? I'm the ultra organised one but it takes me SOOOO many times through a song to memorise the sodding things
20.
lads, whoever wins this month, make the picture for next month something really inspiring... like God having a pint in the rovers.
21. Oi you lot, stop with the chatting and get back to work! There's a bass at stake remember Still gutted there's been no chance to get anything done myself
22.
very guitar orientated
I think the clues in the name
23. Also worth considering that a daws workflow just may not suit you. Personally even as an experienced user reaper feels like an obstacle course. Its down to you as much as the software.
24. Probably a new model coming out?
25. Mobile version is up for me on android now, can't get the full site on mobile version though (button not working), looks like we're getting there
