The only thing that it's worth taking into consideration is that Northampton is only an hour and a half from surrey and about the same from where I run the EA Bass Bash, I expect you'd likely draw much of the same crowd.

The strings are pretty long IIRC. I'm sure they could sort something custom for you if you needed it. They're pretty helpful.

To be honest although the idea of a national bass bash is nice I doubt it would happen as:[list] [*]It would have to have some significant value over another local bash [*]Be guaranteed to get the attendance needed [*]A bigger venue would be needed to host the "potential" for more people coming [*]A national bass guitar show already exists above and beyond this scale [/list]

Funnily enough I spent ages getting everything spot on on one of the songs for my bands album.. by itself it sounds shocking to say the least. In the mix it sounds pretty damn good if I do say so myself
