1. I'll do some usability tests of the titling a bit later
2. Footswitches are on the right, controls to the left Back of pedal board [sharedmedia=core:attachments:120133] front of pedal board
3. Willing to bet you get some takers on this!! I'm bloody tempted myself but I doubt I could get the time off of work (and there are a LOT better players on here than me)
4.
Can I just point out a pet peave, Jhk was in the corner chatting to a newbie who was a little frustrated by what he was able to do, so he was showing him scales and what-not to help him along but he was constantly being interrupted by constant machine gunning in the corner, I don't mind slap or what have but it doesn't have to be that loud, I wish people would just turn down a bit, it's not a guitar bash.
I was guilty of being a bit loud at times too, but in my defense I had just discovered the distortion pedal of my dreams
5. I'm probably being dumb... again I bought this flightcase: and considered putting steps in so that I don't accidentally knock pedals. But I want to make the most of the space I have really so I considered tilting the whole board forward However I infact gain a whole 0.5cm doing this... yay... Then I started wondering what if I layer then pedals a little differently... I havn't done the math on the last method yet but I feel like I must be missing something obvious here....
6. It's coming together
7.
Sorry for adding GAS
Look here : http://basschat.co.uk/topic/188181-potential-first-pedal-board/ It's your fault... (and partially sibobs to be fair)
8. Shame the site is such a nightmare to navigate
9.
“Rob Williams is one of the few electric guitar makers in this country who can create a product that genuinely competes with the top US makers.” That made me laugh. British craftsmanship is second to none!
I would disagree with that. In that you can't judge craftmanship by country, end of story
10.
That gig was Rammstein's last for that world tour so the Pyro guys used up as much of their leftover stock as they could get away with to save having to transport it back home again.
Sound like my kinda guys! Great logic!!
11. Oh and not a lefty. I understand the why they to it, I just don't like it!
12. I considered bottom to top
13. How about making the gap a "feature" rather than people wondering why it's there. If you were to send a little coloured light down there for example

Slow?

When you experience the site being slow would it be possible that people log it here. The time when you noticed it being slow would be great (obviously lets try not to double up on this). If we all work together we might spot a pattern!! I'll put this thread on my "follow" list and when I get new entries I'll update a spreadsheet for a while and see what I can come up with. Something, somewhere will be causing this...
15. BTW It is seriously bugging me that the pedals run right to left!
16. LS2 on its way!!! Mwahahahaha watch this space!
17. Right, that's the last of it ordered. Except the LS2, waiting to hear back on the LS2 from a seller on here Fingers X'd!!!
18.
I don't think 51m0n was particularly charitable about the compression on your TC Can you post the link to that flightcase thread please? At £40 for the small one I doubt I could make one cheaper...
http://www.esr.co.uk/sound-light/flightcasedesks.htm
19.
but to power 24 pedals I'd need 4 wouldn't I? Anyway, sorry, i'll stop de-railing, i'm sure there's a dedicated PSU thread somewhere.
Yep, but I'm building up rather than replacing exsisting so it's a gradual cost rather than a sudden one (like I said, planning ahead)
20.
I don't think 51m0n was particularly charitable about the compression on your TC Can you post the link to that flightcase thread please? At £40 for the small one I doubt I could make one cheaper...
Ah but it's not JUST compression on the TC, you want to be confused? Google Multipressor I'll find the link for you
21.
I love the idea of a 5A supply, but i'd rather use a £5 daisy chain than a load of £40 distributors I'm planning to get myself a new PSU soon so was considering the gigrig but didn't realise how pricey it was
They're £30 (the distributers)
