1. Upto you to be honest we have an Orange Terror Bass coming already but if we have 2 present it could make for an ideal A/B situtation I'm sure the Zoot cab would have some interest I'd suggest bringing atleast your regular rig so that you can A/B with other rigs (or part rigs)
 2.
Yes, I'll be there. With: Variax Warwick Corvette $$ Jaguar ..and my Aerodyne if anyone would like me to bring it? And my Orange Bass Terror and Zoot cab? How about pedals?
Bring Everything!!!
 3.
One thing to point out - when you have a very complex setup like that, you can often find yourself twiddling the knobs trying to find the hidden sound that justifies all the complex wiring, which stops you trying any simpler options which may sound better.
It'll get built up a bit at a time if I decide to eventually do it so I should be quite familiar with each sections sounds by the time it's done
 4.
I'll never be in a choir with you then.....
Swimming not your strong suit?
 5. Insane Genius! Like it!

 7.
The mere thought of attempting to sing in public turns my bowels to water.......
My singing turns other peoples bowels to water
 8. I occasionally wonder if there's a hole in the market for exactly this you know... A courier service designated to musical instruments/peripherals etc..
 9.
Yep, I will be there with bells on! Truckstop
Bring the blazers!
 10. Just a reminder guys - this sunday! Be there!
 11.
It's when the bloke behind the big twiddly nob table says to you "Go on then, I'll sort you in your first number, you'll be fine"
When I used to do sound a lot I was renowned for be able to get set up and soundchecked in a ridiculously short time I think the record was 15 minutes IIRC
 12.
You should try the improved tone stack we did on mine ;-) Andrew is not a little proud! I might have to come to a bass bash now, or put videos online eventually... p
EA BassBash this sunday I need to try a Matamp
 13. Well despite me thinking I'd start simple and trade my OD for a distortion my OD is on it's way out and I have a Line6 DL4 on the way
 14.
As for recording, I like to send the tone I want in rather than getting it afterwards as it changes how I play, but I might be the exception! Chris
That's the way to do it
 15.
I joined MysteryHornyAnimalChat the other day. I still don't know what came over me.
16. Yeah the phasing could be a git... I could do the seperate amps thing but... that would cost FAR too much
 17. I think what I'll do when I'm suitably bored is to build up the effects chain as it is designed above in Protools and see what kind of results I get
 18.
These new Fenders with "reverse headstocks". Words fail me. Pre-f**ked basses at hugely inflated prices to cover Denmark St shop overheads and pander to Denmark St egos. Anything so complicated that it doesn't have a signature tone. One of those ill-advised abortions that had fretted E/A and fretless D/G. That hideous Fender Antigua snot-burst finish that they have seen fit to re-inflict upon us. That Fender 51 RI in visible-from-space mustard. The really really unfortunate thing here is that I own one of these with the quarter pound pickup and it plays and sounds far too good to do the most appropriate thing which is to sell it and allow style to return to my living room. If only I could have it re-finished in black like a sort of contemporary-japan-jazz-bass special one-off 51 RI. Now there's a plan... CB PS: How about a roadworn 51 RI in mustard with an antigua scratchplate, complicated active electronics, a half fretted maple neck with black block inlays and LEDs and a reverse headstock. Sorry if you're eating your dinner.
PhotoShop geniuses where are you!
 19.
Thank you from the depths of my hearts, my friend.
No problem :-P

 21.
Balls!! Took me sosososo long to read the thread that I missed the auction! Guess I'll be taking my £460 to the pub to drown my sosososorrows then
Get a life
