1.
Plug it in. If it bangs - not good. If it doesn't - good. thank you please RK
This was why we got rid of our drummer
2. Here we go... http://basschat.co.uk/topic/85921-acg-stock-basses-for-sale/page__st__40 That's the thread to watch for stock some well within and even below budget
3.
Hmm... I think I'm looking for something a bit less 'retro', if you know what I mean. Never heard of ACG. I take it they are custom made? They look nice..... surely they must be more expensive though?
Yeah they're generally custom made and they're a lot cheaper than you would expect Alan sometimes makes stock basses aswell
4. ACG might be within budget?
5. The tc head technically goes down to 2.66ohm IIRC. So any 3 x 8 Ohms should be fine as long as they ARE 8 Ohms! However I prefer for all my cabs to be matching where possible! Beat to it!
6. I think I would have kept the black ramp Looks good though
7. If you can play great music on any instrument* then hats off to you. *Except bagpipes....
8.
hahahaha, whats the most stringed bass anyone on here has played
A piano
9. Will have to get on this cheers, just working on the album at the moment so could be worthwhile
10. Sorry Paul, now added
11. Well you can daisychain blacksmiths and they can run 4 x 410s each
12. The acg pre is pretty epic but you have no idea what it will do to the wick. Granted you could sell it on quite easily but for that reason alone I'd be looking for a different bass instead.
13. Beautiful finish on it
14.
... An even the largest is tiny by mine...
I had a thought about yours. You attach some wheels and see if you can skate on it
15.
I got a lift home from a Guitarist after practice one day. We got him, his Guitar and combo Amp, me, my Amp head, 1x15" cab and my Bass, and a whole 7 piece Drumkit, into his... Mini! It was a bloomin' tight squeeze and I had my Bass between my knees, but, fortunately, we didn't have to go far.
I think the most impressive I've seen to date (except maybe Waynes tardis!) was... 3 band members Full drumkit PA 2 guitar amps Bassamp Cables In a vauxhall tigra, some of the guys actually got hurt on that trip though
16. They looks quite nice
17. Currently I can fit the whole band and all the gear in my focus 3 people 1 bass (in hardcase) 1 guitar (in softcase) Bass amp 2 x 210 bass cab 1 x guitar combo rack case Gig bag (cables etc) Bass Stand
18. Beautiful instrument, the one I tried in the gallery just didn't do anything for me though. Far too polite sounding for my tastes, however they are usually custom instruments so I guess you can cater the sound to your own tastes. The build quality was great

21.
This is worse... http://www.ebay.co.u...091859404055416
That would look lovely with black pups instead of cream, maple neck and black inlays though! Or with an ebony board and MOP inlays actually!

23.
Hardly a new concept
I think that's the first link you've ever made with a strat in it
24.
Got em!!! pics attached, they look lovely, I will road test them properly later on when I get a mo.
When you "get a mo"?! I would have thought you would have stocked a fridge and prepared a room just so you could spend a week with these uninterrupted after the wait!!
25. Only listened to the first vid but sounded good mate, unlucky on not getting the spot but oh well. Still something to be proud of
