1. It might have been the 150's I'm unsure! I just remembered dt 1 something and they were white
2.
what are you some sort of bass playing race horse!!
That's what his other half tells him
3.
Heh, I suppose you're right... Line 6 works on magic, but only Behringer requires true faith
4.
Are you sure that wasn't the disapproval of the LORD at your playing a Line 6 in his house?
This might be the case... I hear he's more of a Behringer guy
5.
Are you sure that wasn't the disapproval of the LORD at your playing the Devil's music in his house?
IIRC I was playing the bassline from MJs "beat it" Are you trying to say that the LORD doesn't appreciate MJ?
6.
Sorry Charic but... I used a Lowdown 300 last night and hated it. The guy who owns it uses an array of the sims and effects on it which could get you a half decent volume. I don't like playing with effects at the moment and as soon as I tried to get a clean sound, firstly it always sounded as if one of the effects was still in the background and secondly the volume disappeared. This is the second time I've used this amp, the first was in someones kitchen (largish kitchen 20ft x 20ft) and I had the master up over half way and it barely made a noise, my Ibanez SWX35 kicks out more. My Fender Rumble 350 could blow this particular Line6 into next month and it's got a much nicer tone. I'd never buy Line6, it's got to be the most horrid thing I've ever used.
Did you check the line level I would think that whatever one you tried wasn't set up very well or was broken the last time I turned my 300pro up to half part of the church (where we were practicing) roof actually fell in
7. Looking for a drummer for a bit of a fun band that myself and the singer from my other band have put together. The songs are quite ridiculous with titles such as: Insignificant Toaster and I can do it without waking you The music itself is VERY difficult to describe. If you're interested I'll sent over a tuxguitar or guitarpro file so you can see the type of thing Looking for someone with their own kit and transport Rik
8. I'm unsure as to what ohmage ones to go for but these are bloody fantastic for mixing on! http://www.dv247.com/headphones/beyerdynamic-dt-100-studio-headphones-grey-16-ohm--5013
9.
Previous band. "You have betrayed me. You've all stabbed me in the back and raped my music. I dislike you all intensely........I will still do any paying gigs you want me too though"
That's not musical rape then they were begging for it Infact they're a music whore

11. It's between 2 and 5 for me
12. Maybe I got a good... "two"
13.
AWH! Seem's a bit too far for me! North Walsham is not the best place to get to places from! Shame sounds like a laugh have a good one guys
We had a couple of people from up your way last time perhaps you can carpool
14. There's one in peterborough as well. It might be called vantage... but thinking about it that might be guitars only
15. Another thought! Are your pickups too close to the strings? What you might be hearing is the pickup 'grabbing' the string.
16. *throws cards on table and storms out in a strop
17. On the other end of the scale I've owned both a line6 studio110 and 300pro. Both were fantastic bits of kit for quality, construction and sound. The 300 was deafeningly loud to boot! So instead I think the lesson should be: Don't trust a box before you try it yourself
18.
At this point - a week into March - you need to set a date before you can ask people for commitment. Those of us in gigging bands have diaries filling up for next June, never mind this one.
Hi Pete, A date should be confirmed shortly. There has been a series of delays due to an attempt to host a gig in parallel with the gig. The original idea of this was to have an 'all bc' gig. However due to extra costs it no longer seems like this will be able to happen this year. I'm sorry if this means that the date I give is not far enough in advance. My messages out to everyone was more of a courtesy incase previously interested parties are not aware of the thread. I hope to have a date confirmed by the end of the week and shall start planning a few extras for the bash shortly after. Rik
19. Is there butter and toast in your book? What about marmalade? I've not had any in years
20. I need to finalize the deal but i don't expect pa will be an issue details soon hopefully!
21. I had considered that but there's the case of it increasing the balance which makes a bass seem lighter. Was more for helping to find the problem rather than a cure
22. Will probably be a Saturday or Sunday during the day in June or July (need to check work project calendar update)
23. Maybe going the wrong way about this then. You could try adding a small amount of weight to the rear or the bass to experiment. And the lower the bass until comfortable? I think somebody did this with a couple of small weights and some fishing line on here at somepoint
24. Alex, No bloody excuse mate. I expect you waiting for the doors to open Trr: I didn't go to the London show but basic idea. -you bring along your kit and so do others -you try each others kit -you experiment with different combinations -sometimes there's a clinic of some sort (example I'm thinking of rh450 vs other rated amp, solid state vs tube pre vs all tube etc, blind tests obviously. Also considering a 'band with a suggestion box session') -You have a great chat and put names to faces -You leave with GAS
