Is that the latest version of firefox? From what I'm reading some of these issues can come from the browser effectively not supporting newer security protocols so although it looks like the browser is saying the site isn't secure it's actually the other way around...
From my current reading: @skidder652003 this is likely caused by the fact that you're using a very old browser. I've not given up though! @phil.c60 I wonder if yours is a work security thing. Once we have an error message it'll give me a little more to go on
Like you say it all comes down to what you're after. Probably the biggest advantage to micing everything (in some case as many as 3 mics on one drum) is that you don't HAVE to use them but they're there if you want them.
I think it was and justice for all that had two mics taped together on the top of the snare and one mic underneath. For me it's about options!
The roland bass cubes have a stellar reputation.
I used to have a ashdown perfect 10 (don't know if they still make them) that had an absolutely killer sound!
At one point it was two or three gigs a week, sometimes two a day.
These days I'm on keys more often than not though and just trying to get a band off the ground is proving a trial
Touch wood... The worst I've had is a bass coming off its strap.
Although I had a drummer go through his kick drum once. We patched the hole with a cd and ductape
I think different people show their passion in different ways, for some it's having the biggest stage shows around, others it's in how they practice endlessly to make sure every performance flawless
I'm curious as to what the prevailing thought is on ohms for headphones at the moment
If you're taking identical headphone sets (lets say Beyerdynamic DT770 as working example) and they are available in 32/80/250Ohm versions, which would you go for and why?
If you go to here

How are people getting on with their Helixes?
With my NV610 looking like it has a buyer I might be pulling the trigger in the near future. I was going to go with the rackmount version but after the consideration I'm not sure I can warrant the extra cash just to have tidier cabling over the LT. I've always run relatively simple on the pedalboard side so I'm not like to need all the connections to be honest either.
What other reasons are there not to go with the LT? (It'll be insured to the gills through NewMoon so I'm not overly worried about damages)
