1. I don't think talent is really inherited. Maybe certain advantages can be inherited though? Dexterous fingers / Good hearing etc...
2. What kind of budget are you looking at? I would recommend a pair of studio headphones, that way if you want to mix music on them you can do that too BeyerDynamics are great headphones IMO
3. Agreed! Nothing wrong with green! [sharedmedia=core:attachments:34313]
4. I'm not entirely sure about the "retro" bit. The controls look like QParts (from memory) and it's got an Ibby style monkey grip. Still pretty funky but I reckon it may be a one off.
5. It looks really cool the way that they are but it does seem a little impractical tbh. I'd move the pickups closer and see what happens, no harm in that.
6.
Just a thought - I don't know how relevant it is to most, but.. Since the upgrade I can follow a thread just by reading the torrent of reply notifications I get in my inbox. I don't really have to visit the site, which in turn means there's less chance to get involved in other threads, etc...
I tend to rely on notifications too, the thought had already crossed my mind.
7. I post a little less than I used to but keep an eye out for interesting threads that I want to follow. Now being in a gigging band means that I am practicing a LOT more and generally working on technique with a goal in mind. I love BC and wont be leaving anytime soon but I only contribute where it feels necessary at the moment. Also don't forget it's coming up to "that time of year" and everyone's starting to realise they haven't figured out what to get the mrs yet.
8. I think really it depends on the songs, I really struggle remembering mine until they go in. Now I don't think I'll ever forget them
9.
I will be in London on the 16th dec and Amsterdam via Koln on the 18th Dec, if thats any use? I will be travelling on a tourbus so safety isnt an issue. Happy to transport it. MM
Legend
10.
ha ha ...don't know what to say.. Precious, childish, break-down, whatever........ No point trying to play-on..........just have to admit the game is up and pack down and have a laugh with the audience over it..??
"We seem to have broken our guitarist, does anyone have a new one?"
11. The presets change everything except master volume. No idea about the cheaper cab though
12. Like I said on FB, absolutely fantastic and nice n speedy too. The only thing that would be nice is if I could see what the last topic updated in each forum was but it's really not a biggy
13.
Yep me too. But I'm fairly content in the knowledge that when faced with 3 options most people here just won't see it that way (even when you helpfuly broke it down to that red / yellow thing).
Oh good it wasn't jibberish then
14.
hmmm, it seems the majority are in favour of some kind of rep system, but they are divided between two options. Unless one of these options gets an outright majority, will you be axing the system altogether?
Another way of saying what I was trying to get across ta muchly
15. You should leave the filings, they'll make the bass a "gnarly sparkle wood finish"
16. They've worked it out already, they're just waiting until they have exhausted all other options before using it for a new range of each of those options
17. Just need to find a bass drum, although I expect the cones will be a little too heavy anyway tbh.
18. I think the OP would be better off separate amp/cab than combo in the sense of portability. For example I can sling my bass in a gig bag, my rh450 in it's carry case then carry my RS210 quite comfortably.
19. In which case £10k should cover it
