2. I don't understand.. I can't see it in that shot.
3. Why not use the money you make to get a smaller, more portable keyboard? Even a midi-keyboard. That way if you fancy it you can still have a play
4.
The only real downside is the weight, these things are built like a tank and weigh almost as much
I resent that.... What do you mean almost!
5. I've considered dropping in some EMG's but the Dream Theater fan in me won't let me alter it

10.
Unless it's a Marlin Sidewinder, which is what I started with
I knew someone who tried to convince me a Marlin Sidewinder was a "Vintage" bass worth a lot of money. A quick question on here soon told me otherwise
11.
What??? 15lbs? That is absolutely appalling. I mean -what were they thinking when they made it? Sheer incompetence IMO.
If it sounds good and is playable to the owner I would disagree entirely. I'll have to weigh the Yammy RBX6JM (feels heavy) and my ACG (not a feather weight either) I have to say though, heavy basses FEEL like quality
12. Honestly my basses are hardly ever out of tune and don't adjust them very often at all.
13. Lets see how many of these I can get onto a spotify playlist
14. That solid 4 reminds me of Pedulla Rapture
15.
Anything by Mogwai. But 'Kids Will Be Skeletons', 'Whitenoise' and 'Secret Pint' are my favourites. Other Mogwai songs have vocals, but very few and they're often distorted beyond belief via vocoders and delays. Sigur Ros is also a good shout. The '()' album is great. Unfortunately none of the songs have titles, so #4 and #6 are my favourites. I assumed you're talking about modern bands that make a point of being instrumental because otherwise I could name a hundred classical and jazz numbers! edit: Oh, and "Apache". Truckstop
Yeah I like a bit of classical but not really what I intended. I've never got my head around Jazz though.
16. Can anyone recommend some instrumental tracks for listening: One I just found is: Everything Fads To Gray (by Sonata Arctica)
17. +1 on pics 1 pic for a 7000Euro bass is a little bit hopeful Incidentally for those wondering this is £6,185.43 in GBP
18. Sounds interesting... What the last picture though
19. Try out the SEI's... You probably won't see many of those in the states
20. Is it a planet waves lead by any chance? They're renowned for having issues with certain types of sockets.
