1. Question about reaper as I have to put my purchase of protools on hold Is it closer to logic or cubase? I only ask because I've always found Cubase unusable in any form. This is probably my fault rather than the software mind you....
2. I've always loved the look of Roscoe's but compared to the UK luthiers I think they're really quite steeply priced Hope it plays as good as it looks
3. I've got some £20 earplugs just for practicing but will be getting a set of moulded as soon as we book our first gig.
4. I have to say I'm quite impressed
5. Superb! Damn someone already used superb! Superlicious?
6.
You have no idea how much I envy you.
Yeah I do I was waiting ages and one just turned up at exactly the right moment. Needs new strings on it now. Currently using it to write progressive punk (is that even a genre?)
7. I'm also in the nervous camp, I will be getting a second 2x10 but I may have them in a a shape like this _I_
8. Currently playing my Yamaha RBX6JM and loving it btw. I found the TRB1006 to be an awesome bass aswell
9. Hmm sounds odd. I usually prefer a bit more aggression in my sound than the RH450 will give me although I still really need to sit down and work with all the settings at volume. Thunderous bass on them but does clean easily enough.
10. Another reccomendation for ACG. I've also played some fantastic Shukers. Between the two I can't think of anything you can't get done. As for price... the reason I went for an ACG was because at the time (I don't know current prices) it was cheaper than a stingray.
11. Not likely if theyre off to a festival really
12. Nice post Dad. Ha! We have a BC Dad
13. Great idea! Although it sounds like you should've had someone next to the Q to sell merch for you Even a few free giveaways could prove profitable in that situation.
14.
Get[s] Firefox[/s] Chrome and the snipe it ad on
Fixed
15.
Yup, sitting up till the middle of the night to bid on weird basses pays off.
Fair do's will definately remember that. Maybe the fanned frets are putting people off...
16.
Keep and eye on ebay, 6 strings don't seem to go for anywhere near as much as their 4 and 5 string cousins. I got my 6 string Dingwall ABI on ebay a few years back, mint condition, for only slightly more than you are budgeting and they are over £2400 new!
17. You should be able to set the in under an hour easy IMHO. Too much talking not enough doing maybe?

Shuker 6

Yikes that's beautiful. I'm guessing the trade wouldn't go for a pimped MIM P
20. Wrong forum, will report to mods. Your best of working through the for sale forum rather than emails too.
21. If your going to listen through your computer you'll need a really decent soundcard for the quality your after. Kinda entry level IMO: http://www.dv247.com/computer-hardware/dig...ols-8-le--37080 digital village wont steer you wrong if you contact them though. Possibly the best customer service around.
22. Jealous! You guys have one hell of a set-up!
