3. Forgotton the guys name... he wasn't a member on here at the time. Mart or something??
4. I have nothing useful to add but I've always preferred the look of the 4004's
5. I'll go out on a limb and guess then It's not a squire vmj

PRS

I like it.except for the back. I seem to remember them doing that on a fair few prs instruments.
9.
I've heard the TC heads have reliability problems, have you had any probs?
First I've heard I have the RH450 and honestly it is great. Lovely growly tone and a tonne of punch. Plus you get surprised faces to entertain you while you first turn it on
10. Just buy a Shuker/ACG instead that way you need the deposit then you have 9months+ (at a guess) to save for it!!
11.
Wow I didn't think that possible with those gauges! They've surprised me once again! Hope you get on well with those dude
Me either! I'm rather chuffed, I'm still going to get a new nut/setup but if I should change back to the 'old strings' it should just require a setup. Very happy indeed
12. And the fast reply from NEWTONE is brilliant
Rik. Thank you for contacting us, we can make a Custom set of .050-.110 which will be suitable for the tuning you are using, but you would not be able to tune them up to standard tuning. Minimum order is 2 sets and they cost £25.32 each. Best regards, Malcolm Newton/Neil Silverman
I'll be ordering a couple of sets after payday

Custom FX Maker

You can't do that!!! We need to know what you want to make!!
14. It's one of the things about tuning to drop C that is so appealing No-one borrows my ACG, thats not a trust issue so much as a general rule.
15. I'm letting them recommend to me. I tune CGCF and have stated I like high tension, usually use 110s for standard tuning EADG and want something comparable for tuning CGCF and I am willing to alter the nut to accommodate. All on my 34" ACG. If thats not enough information I'm sure theyll ask for more Drop C tunings strings should be in standard production by now though IMHO
16. A double post 5 minutes apart. Interesting
17. What kind of sound do you generally get from Newtone? Fairly bright and zingy is my hope as I may be VERY interested!!!

Fanned frets

In standard tuning my ACG holds its intonation right up to the 24th fret on all strings... In drop C it struggles though. Hopefully that'll be fixed soon mind! Also I love Dingwalls, in particular the Super J5. If ever I have the money for one I'm getting one!!! White, black guard, maple neck, black blocks and white headstock! Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....
19. 1.14's for me. Brain picks if I can find them. Always used a pick on bass, I find it more natural, which probably means I'm odd
20. Personally I love it Now for the american dad version please
21.
WTF? This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen anyone post on Basschat. No-one around here can afford a flat cap. The last one I'm aware of was burned for fuel during the winter.
!!!!
22.
yeah is £1.50 , plus £1498.50 for postage
You may hear back from me LOL!
23. Wrong section mate, maybe a mod will move it for you? Good luck with the sale!
