1. Welcome please don't kick my shins
2. Played a $$ through my rig at the EA bassbash. Sounded epic. Don't move it on mate, save up for your fender then sell it when your bored of it (or realise just how good your $$ is).
3. Supposedly as powerful as a pod 2.0 as a single effect.
4. Good luck mate, moved mine on not too long back. Now using a TC RH450 and at times actually missing this. Great bit of kit!!
5. Has anyone had a fiddle with the line6 tonecore developer kit? Very tempted, but I've not worked in assembler before so I'm wary.
6. Actually I just thought, if they take a DI from the ACG they may end up pulling funny faces
7. Most useless invention voice controlled bass amps!! "Turn UP" amp turns up "Turn UP" amp turns up "Turn DOWN!!!" amp can't hear you now so does nothing "I said TURN DOWN!!!!" amp does nothing
8. Quick slight OT. My amp (RH450) has a good DI out and I don't want it to get Phantom Fried. Is there any kind of safety buffer I could put in between? Something to absorb the phantom power should it be active on the desk.
9. I like... and i'm about 20minutes from you. I could retune this to be high c tuning and be happy... Hurry up and sell so it stops tempting me
10.
You're 16 you have been playing bass for a few months, want to start gigging, not hugely knowledgeable about brands you have a part time job and you have saved up and you walk into the shop and you can buy the most powerful amp in the world. Also you don't know how to use the internet. You will buy the nuke.
Fixed
11. I would say you should be able to do it your way. The last time I was at a gig and the sound engineer was dire was at a mates gig. When they weren't looking I quickly tweaked the mics and swapped out the sm57 on the guitar cab to use the DI (line6 amp, great DI) and all of a sudden people were complimenting the sound. Ofcourse the best method really is to say "would you mind if we tried this instead?". If he says no at this point he's unreasonable and you SHOULD kick up a fuss. Demand the guitarists do the same
12.
Sorry just stumbled on this thread and can't be arsed reading about something so utterly pointless that'll self destruct within a matter of days anyway - can someone explain why anyone would want to own this?
Blender Test?
13. Forgive me if I'm stating the obvious but are you using your pinky? I've seen people trying to play it without using their pinky and they generally struggle.
14. That's bands not songs... surely a soundtrack should be songs.
15.
That top cab weighs 25 kgs and there appear to be no side handles
That's what drummers are for isn't it?
16. yikes! Thats a nice bass there. if i had the cash handy i would be buying this right now! Good luck with the sale!
17. Dave Ellefson I reckon, huge fan especially around the time of Angry Again. Great sound
18. More than enough lowend from the TC's mate!! At 1/2 volume while at the EA bassbash it shattered at lightbulb Absolutely thunderous
