1. My personal ones so far have been: Overdubbing vocals on a new track and forgetting to mute the old track. Confused the fek out of the singer Forgetting to hit stop at the end of a recording. It worked really well actually as after they had finished they talked for a bit then just played the song before doing another take. The playing of the song was the best version!

 3.
Peavey Millennium BXP - sensational bass for the money. £100 -120 secondhand. £150 - £170 new
My first ever bass only sold it because the skinny neck ended up giving me cramp I would keep an eye on here and go 2nd hand. If you bump your budget to 150-200 you'll get a bass that'll last you years IMHO

 11. Also just to add, DV might be willing to do an A/B for you as I mentioned with the monitors.
 12. The TL audio stuff sounds pretty ace. It's has quite a warm sound generally. I've used their Compressors and their valve EQ's. Both are great. I've only used their real expensive stuff mind (uni) like £3k a box... But the answer to your question is... probably!

 22. They are quite nice I have to say. Personally though I would go ACG (but I'm biased). I say try every bass you can (custom and otherwise) and make it your 'target' bass. Then set yourself a target to reach (bass playing ability or life target) then start planning My last one was a full time job (got it and treat myself to an acg) Unfortunately the next step on for me is getting a house or having a kid!
 23. If we could get a list of people willing to put in £10 in advance it would really help I'll start! 1) Charic
