1. Check out the for sale forum here. Your money could stretch a lot further than you realise
2. Very popular at the moment aren't they
3.
Rush haven't been the band they were since Mark King left
Yeah but Dream Theater havnt been the same since flea left mark king!
4. Jimmy page and the bassist from weezer aren't really comparable are they? I'm not talking skill, just fame...
5. Short of someone turning up to a gig and their equipment not working I would NOT lend anything. I no way would they get near my main bass no matter the situation. If someone turns up to a gig and theres a problem you can usually assume its a transport issue. However I would be setting the volume AND they would not touch my EQ. They would also be signing something stating they agree to be held responsible for anything that happens to the equipment while they use it.
6. Exhibit B Here we see a 5 string Lakland sunburst. In what even looks like the same stand: Lets investigate shall we? Neck pickup looks smaller than the Bridge Pickup. Both look central. What does the Jury think?
7. If it was due to the bass being at an angle I would have thought the other side of the picture would be out too... I'll try with another jazz bass in a sec!
8. Or a compressor actually, or DI into the PA. Or all of the above!
9. No problem, I love Bubinga Corvettes myself
10. I didn't post this ok... Link to a perfectly innocent source of information... Honest!
11. Whats the Ohmage of the Amp / Cab that you're using? Could you add a 15 rather than replace?
12.
Best bang for your buck by a million miles in the sub £400 range with a huge varietry in tones. How can you go wrong?
Because I didn't like the neck or sound? Plus I picked up my MIM P Bass shortly after for £350 new. I'd go 2nd hand warwick in this price range I think. Probably a Corvette
13.
G&L L-2000 Tribute. You/he won't regret it.
I would. Never found one I liked.. At ALL! Then again I can be a tad picky
14. Fender/Warwick You should get something good for your money at that pricepoint
15. Nearly the weekend BUMP! You do realise I'm going to keep Bumping this until someone buys it right?
16. Just done a quick check on the Pickup size using paint lets see the results shall we? Looks like the bridge pickup is bigger BUT the bottom of the pickup is level with the bottom of the neck pickup. What the hell!?
17. I would have thought something acidic would be best. But I'd consider trying heat aswell...
