1. Audition got postponed till yesterday. I got the slot everyone seemed happy, we managed to have a laugh and it felt very natural from the start. The drummer is something else, if he starts up a beat I find it hard not too play. Really inspiring! Just after a singer now, the guitarist sings at the moment but everyone agrees (including him) that it would be better to have a seperate singer. Whats more... we drew a crowd!!! Seems like a really promising band. A special thanks too steve for the Tab for Soundman!
2. Protools midi isn't inferior as much as it would make it sound btw. I just 'feels' a bit clunk for myself in comparison to a package like Logic. But then I prefer editing in PT. Oh i dont know... get both. For free, somehow. Do you know mr protools and mr logic?
3. Nope absolutely not. People might hear you!
4. Can we have a Marcus Muller blog in the offtopic please? You could convey his wisdom to us as his humble disciples pleaaaaaaaaaaaaase
5.
Ahhhhh, EBMM's customer relations is classy as ever....
I disagree havn't you read the post thread PROPERLY? ... oh, sarcasm
6. Aw I'm curious now... dammit
7. Don't worry Beedster, my choice personally is Logic or Pro Tools. In your situation I would have picked Pro Tools. Ease of use, quick to learn. You dont particularly need much sequencing AND all pro tools software can work with any other. So you can send off your protools tracks to a studio to get mastered on a high end setup and they can send it back and it will still work (with uncaccessible stuff removed). Its a cool package is pro tools and Im sure you wont regret it
8. Depending on the location in "the midlands" I may come along! It could potentially be a trek though.
9. Nice posts tino! Tub o' lard made me laugh pretty hard. Although they didn't cut you down as hard as I expected them too! 'Some' seem almost reasonable. Interesting... I want to send marcus muller over there!!
10. You'll have to send links! I want too see squirmage too!
11. Its called the elephant in the room effect Or Subconcious GAS (admit it...)
12. +1 Also the usual Line6 recommendation. Their studio 110 has a XLR DI out for PA which doesnt cut off the speaker. So it handles both situations well.
13. I reckon someone should link this thread to that one so he can have a read
14.
Minging. Looks like an ACG or something.
Hang your head in shame

18.
Maybe It's just easier to sell keyboards than digital mixing desks?
Possible I suppose
19. I expect that's because the 58s are designed reduce sibilance.
20. So how excited are u? I'm shocked digital village wouldn't get in without u paying. They got 6 keyboards in for me with no obligation of buying any!
21. Did you get a chance to sit with the desk you ordered or is a try before you buy endeavor? When do we move onto the next spec stage? Let's keep this thread running!
