2.
Gigging with a 75 watt amp and a sound engineer...
Hey hes a cheapskate. I engineer the entire band not just him lol
3. Basses tend to go better if the "place a bid" method isnt used. Lets see a price
4. The price cut probably has something to do with the mac only compatability... pro-tools will be getting more attention on the pc nowadays. My program of choice personally but im gutted i cant have logic at home.

Cambridge!

Well me and my new band have 4 weeks to get our sh*t together and get it tight. Our first gig is in aid of "Oxjam" at the Man on the moon in cambridge. I dont know the time yet other than its the 17th of october. It'd be cool to have the locals (and the posse you know who you are) judging my every move haha. But seriously its our first gig and we dont want an empty room. Also were looking to be an opening act so if you want to check us out for that purpose definately feel free. Our name is "scream in unison". Er... Metallica influenced metal but with a female singer who can REALLY sing. Sounds weird and you wont understand till you hear it so make sure to get your butts down to the man on the moon. Rik

15.
I have a scar on my arm from playing a Fender Telecaster guitar for years. I used to gaffer tape a peice of paper or an old set list to my arm and that seemed to do the trick.
Thats what you get for playing guitar mister
16. Lol. Well ive been in touch with the guys there. Hats off too them so far. Extremely helpful and fast replys. -battery will last around 6 hours (dependent on what kind of battery ofcourse) -it still screws on (any ideas of an alternative?) -it has a small switch in the same area as the tone and volume -and you cant change the brightness (yet dimmer switch/variable resister anybody hehe)
17. Got mine from argos when i started out on bass as my left hand/arm wasnt up2 scratch it definately worked! My high score was 9608 at highest if i remember right (i know it was 960#) lol
18. We need pics.... vote for maple here tho. Turn this into a poll actually
19. Where can i get hold of q parts knobs? In the UK the sets i want are ALWAYS not included in the catalogues. Im after a black knob with the green crystal to go ontop.
20. Mackies will definately not have a problem. As for uncoloured sound... make a recording and listen to it on a home system. Then listen to it through genelec monitors. The genelecs are known for being one of the best companies around for that flat sound. This is most probably why they cost a BOMB. But hey you pay for quality. BTW a flat sound is NOT a nice sound. Its flat. HIFI have raises in different frequencies to MAKE it sound nice despite them being CR@P
21. Sounds interesting. How do they compare to roto swing bass? I play with a pick and love the growl
22. Hey guys, tempted by the aurora project glowguards atm. Black pbass/black scratchplate/green light (green n black are my colours) so i was wondering do any of you guys have the answers to these questions: -is the scratchplate still screwed on? -how long does the battery last -how do you switch it on and off -is there a control to how bright cheers for any reply's ps i dont want flashing i just want the standard
23. May be interested in the shortboard... if it works with a lowdown
24. Maybe it would be an idea to rate amps and bass delivery seperate? Id trust parcelforce with an amp (and theyre not a bad price for high quanities. But for a bass.... not gonna happen buuuuudddy PS... get this pinned
