good stuff. i drilled into it and drilled the screwhead off, which let me take the strap button off and then unscrewed the rest of the screw with a pair of plyers. bloody hell they get hot when you've been drilling them!
-
it does indeed, see the pics. Stingray not included. like i said, i kinda can't be @rsed to post it although G-Bitch is posting me some of his freebie stuff so I ought to pay it forward or whatever it's called - so providing I can get a box big enough, I'll stick it in the post - alternatively, if I can get a box big enough, and you're happy to book a parcelfarce or interparcel or some such to collect from me at home or at work, then that is also fine by me (but can we cross that bridge when i've got a box etc...?)

i'll just go and check!

Reduced a bit.... This has to go now to make way for other things. I'll entertain offers around the £400 mark - which I don't think is unreasonable considering the price includes a near mint Hiscox case (with keys and that fancy handle). No trades on this, looking for a cash sale. Anyway, some new pics attached and some high resolutions ones here -
i forgot to add, it's got a strap button still attached to it. does that make any difference
Do you have a drill? If you do if you carefully drill into the hole that the screw head now has in it and the drill is as large or larger than the shank of the screw, as soon as the drill bit gets to the shank the rest of the head will fall off. Grab whats left of the shankl with a pair of pliers and twist it out...... Enjoy....
cheers for that. I shall have a bash and hopefully, not knacker it up!!!

Morning folks I am selling off a bit of mine and my guitarist's gear at the minute and have just sold his dreaful Jedson tele copy. He's left handed so converted it to left hand drive, I've put it back together for normal people but need to take the strap button out of the bottom horn and put it back onto the top horn. The only problem is somebody has damaged the screwhead and I can't get a screwdriver onto it to take it out. I am not endowed with tools or skills so if you have any suggestions. I'd chuck the thing on the fire personally, but unfortunately I have committed to selling it for him so I can buy him some proper left handed guitars
Sure you won't post it?
I will yeah, but i reckon it'll be about 15 quid and to be honest, I doubt the case itself is actually worth that It's really tatty

I only bought this last week, sadly it was ever so slightly mis timed and it turns out I can't afford it this month. In good nick overall, one or two blems - nothing major and includes near mint Gibson hardcase. Email me for pics, looking for what I paid for it - £570 or near offer. No trades as I have to find the money again now! You'll find it on ebay if you look along with my amp and a couple of lefties I'm selling on behalf of my guitarist. Also still thinking of selling my Jap Precision if anybody is interested. I've had a brief correspondence with John Diggins about repairing the chip, but that's another story. JA

mouth says, "that bongo looks bigger than that stingray" brain says, "it's on a stand stupid" V nice, particularly the colour of the ray

i've got a hardcase which i got with my MIM jazz bass. It's really really really really tatty - the tolex is coming off the edges, a couple of corners are a bit bent and there is a 1/2cm gap at one of the extemities, but the catches and hinges work and it's solid - no breaks. It's an old wooden jobbie that i donated to my guitar player but he's donated back as i am clearing out some of his crap guitar stocks. If anybody wants it, it's yours but you have to come and pick it up from loughborough or leicester or you could meet me in sheffield tomorrow only (4th august) but i don't know what time to be honest. Any takers? I really can't be bothered to post it as i'd have to source a box big enough and it'll go down the recycling centre if nobody wants it.

VAT question - if you're VAT registered does that mean that you don't have to pay VAT on imports (but still the import duty)?

Selling a Marshall JTM 60 112 combo valve amp. 60 watt class AB with 4 12AX7 or ECC83 or whatever they're called for the preamp and 2 EL34s. Sounds mint - really nice sounding amp. Quite rare too apparently, made from 1995 to 1997 and in good nick (one or two small nicks in the vinyl) - all the knobs are present and correct and comes with the footswitch. On ebay here but will pull it for sensible basschatter offers. No idea what to ask for it really - I had a similar 3 Channel Peavey 112 which I sold last year for about £270. I think this is a bit better to be honest so would probably entertain offers around the £350 mark (which is probably somewhere around where I expect it to end on fleabay). Again, will consider swaps or p/ex towards a good Les Paul Studio or an SG Standard. Pics on the ebay linky
