Ian bought my Bergantino HD112. Excellent communication & a swift payment. All round courteous guy & a pleasure to deal with.

I travelled to Tim's & purchased his two Barefaced Supercompacts. Both as described in his ad & he let me have a good test of them before concluding the deal. Very pleasant bloke to deal with - cheers Tim.

Glen bought my Fender American Deluxe Jazz bass. Great communication, prompt payment & a thoroughly nice bloke to boot! Deal with confidence guys.

Not normally a fan of this type of body shape, but with those woods & hardware that's a bit of a stunner ain't it! A quick Google of the 'new' price also confirms that price is a steal too! I've just outlaid for a new bass so it's not for me, but can't believe that this is going to be around for too long.....
Two very different basses but (to me) equally beautiful.
Agreed - both look very nice indeed. One a bit more traditional looking & the other with a bit of a nod towards a Ritter in shape. Also with the different woods used & one being active & the other passive, I would imagine you could dial in any tone you want from one or t'other.

Well it's arrived & it is bloomin' lovely..! The necks are just amazing on these basses - so playable. Both mine have a 14" fretboard radius & I like that flatness! Low action & no fret buzz either. Sounds are spot on Jazz bass - on some steroids. Look is going to be too 'coffee table' for some, but I like it & the individual aesthetics you get with Maruszczyk's are a great feature of the brand I reckon. A pic in the gear porn thread, but I'll try & do a better one at some point!

My second one turned up today direct from Adrian. Delano pups & Glockenlang preamp in this one. I'll start playing the thing once I've stopped just looking at it!!

My ad for my Fender Deluxe Jazz disappeared for a while yesterday, then reappeared (reported to MB1). No mention of 'trade' in my ad though - seems like some IT gremlins have indeed occurred!!
.....oh no they're not! http://teamrock.com/news/2017-08-29/rush-leelifeson-no-new-band
Damn it - that's a shame. I'd happily have listened to whatever new stuff was put out with whatever line up. Been a fan since the early 80's too - my favourite album? Clockwork Angels - absolutely on a par with their 'classics'. (although yeah, Test for Echo wasn't that great was it.......!?!)

Definite incoming now...

Yep, those links work (& I still can't see originals so hopefully all interested parties can now see one or other). Lovely bass - my fiver has a similar finish in 'cherry' & it's very tactile. Anyone suffering with back issues & who wants a very, very decent 4 string will be delighted with this one. Maruszczyk build quality is superb. GLWTS -
I wouldn't agree to do a gig at a pub if we knew it to be frequented by a-holes or p-heads.
This.

Superb bass which I thought was going to be a 'lifer', but over this weekend I've pulled the trigger on another Maruszczyk so I need to balance the books a little.
Deal me in. Some of you may have spotted this sexy beast on social media.
Yes, I saw this on FB - clicked straight on the link to the shop & wondered why it didn't come up! Gorgeous bass - looks awesome & will no doubt play & sound so too! Might have my own incoming shortly...... (Ps; there is a Maruszczyk thread in 'Gear Porn' - this bass would be a most worthy addition to that!)

Well I'm pretty sure I haven't got to say anything about Bergantino as a brand on BC!! Cab is in excellent condition & comes with the official cover which unsurprisingly is well padded & top quality too. •1 x 12" cast frame woofer w/ 80oz. magnet, vented pole piece •high intelligibility 1" tweeter •power handling - 350 watts rms •custom phase - coherent crossover with tweeter level control •Precision tuned 100% Baltic Birch cabinet •frequency response: 40hz - 15khz •sensitivity: 97db • anechoic: 2.83v/1m •2 x 1/4" and 2 x neutrik connectors •impedance: 8 ohms Only selling after my recent acquisition of a couple of Barefaced cabs. Not that they are any better - I just wanted two 1x12 cabs. Collection from Swindon or meet not too far away.

I've always liked that finish on those basses - looks awesome. Great playing too Enrico!!
Great punchy sound and venue dependent I would use 1 or both.
That was my thoughts too, either 1 cab or two depending on venue. I also have the Tech 21 Bass-Fly rig to go straight into a PA if necessary. A solution for every venue!! (the Bass-Fly rig is also useful in front of the BH550 with its in built chorus, octaver, boost & compressor too!)
Congratulations, looks fantastic. I have a Super Compact and it's absolutely superb. I'd love to hear a pair of them in action, must be outrageous!
Only tried them at home so far. Gain at 55% & volume at 30% - yes, pretty damn loud especially with the Fender & its 18v circuit. Bonkers in a good way! Rehearsal a week tomorrow......
They're great cabs, perhaps I'll hear them in action as we do most of our gigs around Swindon.
Hopefully gigging again by end of the year

So, i'd been keeping an eye out for a decent used Berg HD112 to pair up with the existing one I own as it's a fantastic cab. They don't come up for sale very often, & I've been too slow & missed out on a couple when they have. Then I see BC member timotei's (thanks Tim!) ad for two of the above, did a bit of research on them & decided to go for it. Got them home at 3pm today & have only just put my bass down since! I was a little concerned about the lack of a tweeter, but more than enough high frequency for me. Oodles of power - having the two cabs really allows the BH550 to stretch it's legs. Fantastic tone too, as was expected to be honest. Also an each one is an easy one hand carry. Low B on my five string is thunderous! I'm sure I would have been just as happy with a second Berg - obviously both brands are at the top end of bass cab production, but the first available opportunity I saw was for the two BF cabs & I'm more than happy. Struggling to think of a reason why I should ever have to change them now I've got them....!!
Thanks guys - it is indeed a beauty. Sell the cabs!!!
I'd say give it a bit longer to get used to the string spacing, don't take the financial hit, think about all those people that will be coming up to you at future gigs saying "awesome bass mate"' & forget the Warwick!! Lol
