That is one of the nicest basses I've ever seen. Shame I'm now skint after buying new cabs.......

I'm not in the market for a new bass, but I've had a five string one of these & they are great. Excellent tones as the OP says, build quality & playability are great too. These look a bit lightweight in construction, but the reality is they are built like a tank. If you are a player that suffers from playing a heavy bass, these are perfect too. Not because of weight - mine was nearly 9lbs so they actually weigh as much as a traditional style bass. The on strap balance is perfect though, which is why there is virtually no pressure on your shoulder & therefore back when strapped on. GLWTS

[/quote] There's probably a little jest in your comment but to be fair, I'd suggest probably a realisation that the original price was a smidge high. At £950 that is bang on market price IMHO. As you can see from my sig, I have one of these (which I'm not selling anytime soon!) & these truly are fantastic basses. Light, extremely playable & sound immense. Amazes me when I see standard used US Jazzes going for around £800 & for not much more dough you can have one of these far superior instruments. Whoever buys this, if it's anything like mine, they will be a very happy bassist indeed!
